Yes -- they're open Saturdays! I just confirmed with them directly (but you can double-check their website to be sure). Their food? A 10 out of 10. We ordered the teriyaki chicken and the roast with gravy and OMG -- everything was absolutely delicious. The portions are HUGE, and the flavors were rich, comforting, and full of aloha. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, and she is just a beautiful soul. We had such a lovely conversation about Hawaii and walked away not only full, but also with a deeper appreciation for the culture behind the food. I got lucky and tried a sample of the poke (after I had already ordered), and I'm not exaggerating -- it was my favorite bite of the day. I'll definitely be ordering that next time! For current hours and menu offerings, please check their Facebook page before making it down to Turner. The ambiance of this food truck is that it is located on a rock & gravel lot with parking for about 6 cars. There are two picnic tables covered with a tarp for shade. Other than that this is strictly a take out operation. On this occasion, the menu items offered were Kalua Pig & Cabbage, Beef Tips, Huli Huli Chicken (Teriyaki), and Guava Smoked Ribs. Heard this is the best Hawaiian food in Oregon. I ordered Spareribs and char siu chicken. The owners are very polite and super pleasant to talk to. There isn't a largely diverse selection in town so this is a great option. The service is fast. I would recommend. The food is good and very authentic. The chicken is my favorite. I saw a picture of the hamburger and gravy on FB and had to travel to Turner to try. The food was delicious and only made better by the couple who run the place. It is obvious that this place has a following judging by my getting the last hamburger and gravy and other food had already sold out. The food was incredible. I have not officially eaten here yet, but I desperately want to. Unfortunately they have a rotating menu and I'll waiting for the Honolulu Beef day... I actually didn't know this and stopped by one day when I learned of the rotating menu. The owner was very friendly and even offered me some samples and told me to come back the next day and they would make the beef plate I wanted. How awesome is that? Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it in the next day, but I will definitely try and come back when they do have what I want on the menu. They do keep somewhat odd business hours which makes it harder than usual, so be sure and check ahead of time to make sure they are open and have what you're craving. read more
