I cannot thank the team at Melrose Abbey enough. My family had my great-grandmother's service here…read morea decade ago and my grandfather's service a few months ago. The team was very kind and helpful towards us through our grief and mourning and made everything seamless for us to navigate. Lupe was especially very helpful and accommodating even when my brother and aunt were asking for a lot and had very particular requests. Everyone was very patient with us. The chapel punches above its weight; it's very clean, large, comfortable, and beautiful, especially for the value/cost. I consider myself pretty claustrophobic and uncomfortable with funerals but the large venue allowed me to have my own space at times. There are multiple packages available to accommodate to different religious faiths. Our Buddhist funerals are very extensive and involve a lot of decor, setting up, altars, but we did not have to worry about providing or doing any of that ourselves. Here in Orange County/Little Saigon, the other most popular funeral home is Peek which I find to be so crowded, commercialized, less warm and comforting, and the service is less thorough or comprehensive. Melrose Abbey, I believe, has been family-owned for a few generations hence why working with the team feels more cordial and personal. I recommend all Vietnamese families in the area to come here instead; far better value, better venue, while still accommodating to our traditions. My only complaint is that for some reason the staff wheeled my grandfather to the crematorium rather than having us pallbearers escort him; I was hoping it'd be my last moment with him. We were told to clutch onto the casket which did feel a bit misleading or confusing; I'd rather we just be told that we weren't going to do anything. Once again, I'd like to thank the team especially Lupe.

She explained the process thoroughly, she was so responsive to all of our calls and emails. She was able to get all the necessary paperwork and she happily obliged with all of our requests. The place itself was clean, everything was done on time, Abigail and her staff were so kind, empathetic, patient and really helped us through this difficult time. This was an unexpected passing of my Father and we didn't know much but like I said she went over everything to make sure we had the proper Hindu ceremony and respected all of our cultural wishes. My Dad was given a proper and the most beautiful heartfelt funeral. The flowers, casket, ceremony to all the details couldn't have been more perfect. My family and I are so grateful for all the hand holding during this difficult time. Abigail went above and beyond. My only dislike was the mic for the speeches there was a loud echo making it difficult for the people to hear the speeches but during the recorded live stream the voices were recorded just fine so we have this forever. Thank you

I live on the other side of the country....I didn't know who to call or rely on for this service, as there are so many to choose. Reflections Funeral services came recommended to me from hospital staff (Reflections services are apparently well known). I called and Alfonzo immediately answered, His courtesy and (seemingly) genuine concern was comforting. Alfonzo (subsequently) answered his phone nearly every call I placed, when he was unable, he got back to me very quickly. The thought of entering a mortuary was not an experience I was keen to pursue. Alfonzo and his wife were very kind and compassionate ,... They too understand the afflicting loss of close family members. Alfonzo met with me on more than one occasion at locations and times that was most convenient, as my time (like most) was limited. All my questions were answered, there was ease of process with no pressure or hard sell of anything. Reflections offers a service that most typically doesn't ponder till fate reveals it's presence and thrusts severity into one's life. Their professionalism and patience made this circumstance amiable,.... such travesty will allow. Reflections are a blessing and I would recommend their services to anyone (unfortunate enough) to need them.

No compassion no emotions just a cold hearted man. He all about his self not thinking about others feeling. He only about his business not about the family. I can only imagine how is treats his family or his wife if he has one. No one deserves to be treated disrespectful especially during the lost of your loved one. Alfonso prayer for you because you need prayers to help with your rudeness. Amen
