Memory Gardens is a cute little cemetery. We had just the service at the chapel and staff are great. We walked the grounds and it was full of colorful flowers from All Souls' Day.

    Grass has be cut

This place is not cheap and the maintenance is really poor. Everytime i go to visit the grass is really tall looks like it has not been trimmed for weeks. Yesterday I showed up and I saw 3 persons with weed whackers and edge trimmers to do the job that they are supposed to do . What can you do take your loved ones to else where no you can't. People ask a lot of questions if your thinking of using this place.

    Isn't this horrible?!?

It breaks my heart that my parents are buried here and the care of this facility has diminished. According to the mortuary, their well pump broke so they have let all the grass die. It is despicable and sad. I go to the cemetery to find peace and visit my mom and dad and other relatives. The bronze on my mom and dad's head stone is chipping and I just don't think that should happen. If I could move them I would! Horrible!! No water for flowers either.

Mom got VIP service today. I took flowers up to mom and this little old man name Alejandro stopped his tractor and came over and said who is this? I told him it's my moms 80 Bday. He said okay we are going to make mommas day very special. He asked me to remove the flowers he then went and got his hedge trimmer and trimmed up all around her gravesight and headstone, got his blower put gas in it and blew off all the trimmings. Then he said again wait wait we make momma very happy and he came over polished up the head stone and said okay go get the flowers he got fresh water and then said, now Happy momma! I shook his hand and thanked him very much. He was like an angel sent from heaven to make mom's day very special such a blessing to see a stranger go above and beyond to make a day so special. Alejandro you are truly a Blessing from above!

My parents are buried in the veterans field at Memory Gardens. We visit their grave regularly and several months ago discovered that my mom's Registered Nurse medallion on the headstone was missing. We can't tell if it was stolen, but it was definitely scraped off. We made our initial call to the Memory Gardens office ALMOST 3 MONTHS ago to have the nurse's cross medallion replaced. As of this writing, it has still not been replaced, even though we call weekly, provided pictures of the headstone before and after, have emailed the information, and have gone to the cemetery office in person. (I suppose I could leave out the part where they did actually install a replacement a few weeks ago... of an UPSIDE DOWN nurse's cap. But, that's probably an important detail. It gives you an idea of the kind of issues you may run into here.) Besides being completely unprofessional - in that we were promised this would be handled, but have never received the requested follow up, let alone a resolution - it's also a disgrace that, of ALL people, they would allow the defacing of a headstone and not correct it immediately.

    Decorating for this beautiful time.

I've been interested in the funeral business since 2018 and have reached out to places on and off just hoping to learn more. I wasn't even asking for a job, just insight, but no one ever took the time to respond. Ryan did. He spent nearly two hours of his day talking with me, while still managing his work, answering all of my questions about the industry, his role, and what it's really like to be in this field. He even shared ways I could get started at an entry-level position, which was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. It's rare to meet someone so knowledgeable and generous with their time, especially when they're not getting anything in return. Ryan is sincere, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about what he does. I only wish I had known about him when my own family needed services. Ryan Preston is truly exceptional, and I'm very grateful he took the time to speak with me.

This is a small, no frills business, their mission is to provide affordable services. Ryan Preston was very helpful, transparent and direct, explaining all of the process and steps. Appreciated the honesty and good customer service. They had the lowest prices compared to all of the same businesses, large and small. Typical turn-around time is 2 weeks, our cremation took 20 days total because of communication issues with the hospital which delayed the process several business days. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because they do not own their own crematorium, they partner with Family Crematorium in Highland, so there is a bit of logististics with traveling and wait time to schedule the cremation. Other than that, I would certainly use them again and am truly grateful for their excellent service.

Every time I go in to make a payment, I don't feel welcomed. The staff has not been very friendly, and the interactions have made me feel uncomfortable. Considering the sensitive nature of this business, I feel that kindness, compassion, and a welcoming friendly attitude are extremely important. People coming into a cemetery or funeral office may already be dealing with grief, loss, or making difficult decisions for themselves and their families. A friendly smile goes a long way. It honestly makes me concerned about the day I may actually need to hold a memorial service here. I truly hope the level of compassion and customer service is different when families are going through a loss. It's unfortunate because the cemetery is beautiful and Elmer provided excellent service. I hope management addresses the attitude and customer service in the front office, because a little kindness and warmth can make a huge difference in a place like this.

While we were not able to stay for the full burial due to timing--it was already after 4:30 PM--we left feeling comforted knowing she was being laid to rest at your grounds. However, when I returned today, October 8th, to visit her grave, I was shocked and deeply saddened to see the condition of the flowers we had so lovingly brought for her. They were messy, disorganized, and looked as if no care had been taken to preserve or respect them. It was heartbreaking. These flowers weren't just decoration--they were a symbol of love, grief, and remembrance. We spend not only our time and emotions, but also a significant amount of money to honor our loved ones during such a painful time. To see these offerings so thoughtlessly handled feels incredibly disrespectful. It gives the impression that once the ceremony is over, the rest no longer matters--not to those who work there, at least. Even more disappointing is knowing that by tomorrow, all those flowers will likely be thrown away. I understand cemetery policies and the need for maintenance, but the lack of sensitivity and respect in the handling of fresh arrangements immediately after a burial is unacceptable. I hope you will take this message seriously, and that moving forward, your team can be more mindful and compassionate with how they care for the final resting places of our loved ones--and the offerings families leave behind in their memory
