I bought this pillow through their website in efforst to support a small business. Im pregnant and looking for a comfy pillow as sleep has been a challenge. I received the pillow, took it out of the box, felt it with my hands and found it too hard. Immediately, I put it back in the box because I knew I didn't have to try it to know it was a no go for me. I contacted the company and they issued a return label. Fast forward: they receive my very UNUSED pillow, recorded a bogus unboxing video, pointed at a few spots with nothing on them and smelled the pillow. They sent me an email to say I didn't qualify for a refund because they "found fibers on the pillow" what the heck does that even mean. purchased a $140 pillow from them and I hate it. Having to fight with them to get a refund via dispute. If you're going to charge this kind of money you're gonna need to have an easy return policy. I think I might have liked it if it had more wool but seriously it's like 3 inches thick. I would have even been fine paying more if it was going to be something I loved. My ultimate goal was to purchase a few wool comforters from them but thought i'd test out their products before I spent $1000. Glad I didn't go all in with them. read more

I ordered from Holy Lamb in February 2014. I ordered off of their clearance list which is mostly items that have small, unnoticeable issues such as material defects. Who cares about material defects when most items you will buy from them (comformters and mattress toppers) will be under your sheets?! I saved some pretty good money with them I believe. They already were priced on the lower end of multiple wool comforters/toppers and then add in the fact that I got items on clearance. Good savings. All products seem to be good quality and I am happy with them. I will say that I've never slept with wool before and at first I've found it hot. I know, for the most part wool is supposed to be cooler. However, my room is hot and I think this messes up the cooling properties. I could be wrong on this though. I have rectified my issue by just putting a fan on that blows over top of my bed which seems to wick away any built up heat. I am sure if I had my room cooler like most people then it would be perfect. With that said, the items arrived tied up with scrap cotton. Nice touch to not use plastic. I also got a duvet (not from them) and the comforter was all scrunching up inside. Really annoying so I used the scrap cotton strips to "tie" them to the inside of the duvet. Presto - the duvet and comforter are now one. I certainly couldn't have done that with palstic. So the option to repurpose something was awesome and I'm pretty proud of myself for thinking of this. :P If you do order off the clearance list you will have to call the order in as their current system does not allow you to order online. read more

I ordered several items off the clearance list including 2 to go wools, a twin comforter and more recently a travel pillow, two seat belt covers, and an ultimate deep sleep twin topper with the moisture barrier and the body pillow. Beautiful organic wool products in lovely organic cotton covers. I so wanted to love their products & support green & local. However, I'm writing this as a cautionary tale because these products are expensive. I purchased the sateen sheet set & the Topanga bedding topper blanket in May of 2019. I liked the color & feel of the blanket in particular. I wasn't convinced about the softness of the sheets because the softness varied among the different colored sheet sets I touched but I was told the sheets get softer with each washing. ( FYI: I wash with organic products with the warm setting on my LG top loading washer. I dry on medium. ) The sheets actually came out with an increase of scratchiness on my skin. My skin is sensitive & needs soft textures. Plus, I'm afraid to wash the blanket because it's been shedding threads at the bottom ends. There was also a small mat of threads underneath the cover so I question their quality assurance on products. I don't expect these kind of issues after spending close to $600 for 2 bedding products. Would you ? I called to inquire about the return/ exchange of sheets & learned there isn't one unless it's unused sheets! Not helpful at all. So heed this cautionary tale before you fork over your money. These issues may not bother you as they did for me! read more

We ordered $525 comforter from this merchant. Upon receiving it, we found that it was too small for our bed and a little thin, so we sent it back. They claimed that it was "used/and or laundered" - when in fact it was not - and therefore could not be returned for a refund. Be warned - this merchant does not stand behind the quality of their products, and will hide behind their return policy if you have any issues at all. Stay away. read more

Placed an order over four weeks ago on 5/11. Supposed to ship in 7-10 business days. Finally called last week and spoke to Sam (I think) who was very nice, and apologetic- and assured me that I would receive a shipping update by yesterday, Tuesday 6/1. Today, when I called to explain that I still had not received any shipping update, 17 business days later - or 31 days, I spoke to someone named Val. She was SO INCREDIBLY, OUTRIGHTLY RUDE to me on the phone for zero reason. SUPER condescending, totally flippant and unapologetic, interrupted me about ten times and then accused me of interrupting her (gaslighting). She said she was the customer service manager when I asked to speak to her supervisor !!! Oh my God!! She kept saying over and over she was alone and the only one in the building almost like she was complaining about her circumstances?? Going to file a BBB complaint so the owners hear about this- there is no way on earth she should be representing anyone's business this way!! She is literally stealing money out of the owner's pockets by ensuring they will lose customers via her horrendous treatment. I have been so patient about all this- it is not the kind of thing I get upset about. What does upset me is being intentionally abused by another human.
