I noticed a noise in my engine and shortly after the A/C went out in my 2004 H2 Hummer. I looked at the engine to find my A/C belt was off and bound up. At ~2 pm on a Thursday, I found Gerard's Automotive Shop and hoped for the best as I was 2 hours from home with work at 8 am the next day and unsure how safe it was to continue driving. They were busy servicing many customers. I asked for help, and I was politely told they were backed up but would take a look in ~45 minutes. ~30 minutes later they took that look and quickly found that the tensioner had gone bad on my A/C unit which caused my belt to slip and bind. Within 2 hours I was taken care of for less than $200. Furthermore, they identified an oil leak, took pics, and sent them to me. The owner chatted with me and my son, gave us cold water and a cookie while we waited. How long has it been in your life since you had such great service as a non-existing client/customer? It's been quite some time for me. I can't thank these guys enough as they not only saved me a ton of time, worries and money, I now know when I travel from Atlanta suburbia for a Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino run, I have a trusty mechanic close by when/if I need it. I may just strategize a service visit or repair when I visit the casino just because I know I'll get great service and a fair shake. From the moment I called until I picked up my car, I had a great experience with Gerard's. I initially spoke with Frank and then Brian took care of me throughout the process. You can tell that they value their work even down to the waiting area inside the shop. There were freshly baked cookies and everything was very neat and clean. I feel like you don't often see that in automotive shops. They accommodated me quickly and were able to solve the problem with my trunk and I am so happy that's it's fixed. I was initially quoted an exorbitant amount down in Florida to fix it and so I am very happy that I was able to find a shop with honest and reliable mechanics!! But RADAR Renegade R/T. reviews were good especially for reasonable road noise for the aggressive tread pattern. They were friendly, got them in on the day promised, and installed them promptly, even though they were closing early on that day. Time will tell on the tires and their longevity, but they were quiet on the highway and look great. Honestly, after saving about $800 from the brands I've been looking at, they could fall 25% short, and I'd still be ahead of the game if the turn out to be good otherwise.

Just amazing! They went above and beyond. I came in on July 3rd with a flat tire because of…read moremultiple nail punctures on the side wall, rendering it unrepairable. They didn't have a tire in stock that fit my car so they ordered a tire for me to be delivered that same day. I was on vacation with my family and needed to be back to spend time with them. The problem was that I wouldn't be back until after they closed. So they allowed me to prepay and come after hours and get my key from a hidden spot. When I came to pick up my car I found the invoice and they had written a not on it. Apparently they had made a mistake and ordered the wrong size tire for my car. But in the shipment there was a higher quality and more expensive tire that would also fit. They had put that on my car at no extra charge. I am so grateful for these guys and highly recommend them.

There was no need to pay for towing, and the price for my alternator and battery were cheaper than i could have gotten them myself. Excellent service with no crazy mark ups and unneccessary expenses.
