Our landscape firm recommended that we go to Telly's to select a special red maple for an area on…read moreour property that is outside where our landscaper's work. We found a beautiful specimen, bought it and contracted to Telly's to plant it. This was in September of 2025. Now seven months later, the specimen is dead. We took pictures to the store and I spoke to the person who sold me the tree originally. He told me he needed to consult an "expert". I was introduced to another man who looked at my pictures and fairly immediately diagnosed that there was something wrong with our soil and that is what killed the tree. He indicated that their warranty did not cover disease. He showed me the treatment for the soil and explained how to do it. We spent $90 on this treatment. After consulting with our landscaper, there were several things that were suggested, but here's the most important one. The tree dying so quickly would suggest that the disease may have been in the potted plant's soil WHEN it was planted. The landscaper found it unusual that if the disease were newly introduced to the plant from our soil that it would have died so quickly. At any rate, we will never buy another specimen tree like this from Telly's. This experience really felt like a "setup" between the two employees. We had to speak to the guy who knows how to "sell" this whole soil disease excuse. As consumers, we were in no position to argue. We'd suggest that you be very careful buying an expensive specimen from Telly's and risking having your money go up in smoke in just a few months time!

When confronted with the issue, they sent out an apoplectic company representative to my house who complained many times about having to drive to our house to look at the countertops. Her biggest concern was the drive and time spent, not the fact that we spent $17,000 on white with blue countertops and received cream with brown countertops. After four weeks of refusing to address our issue, they have stopped communicating and have offered nothing. Nothing. No response. My research has indicated that countertop fabricators do not like using Ciot because they are known for not resolving mistakes.

I used to buy fresh greens here but not anymore. These are definitely overpriced. It isn't really that hard to put some greens in a pot with some decorative branches, acorns etc. so I make my own. The shop's staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed them and they were also pretty available when we needed someone even though they were a bit busy. As for the prices I would put them on par for a place that sells the selection that this place has.
