I've built one before so I already had a decent base of knowledge, but Larry was on a whole other level, total professional. He helped us for a while and made sure all our questions were answered before we left. Really glad about the purchase, the terrarium turned out great and my friend loved it. I slammed on my brakes, and went in to check it out. Holy guacamole! Their hanging baskets are regularly $14.99 each, or $12.99 each when you buy 3, so 50% off made them $7.50 or $6.50 each! No joke. I ended up spending $90 and almost couldn't fit all the plants in my car. I thought I had plenty, then I was driving up Ryan 3 days ago, July 8, and saw a sign for 75% off. You have got to be kidding me?! Screetch!!!!! Pulling over again. This time I only spent $60, and again had a time getting it all into my car. This place is awesome!!!!!!!!!

The key is "healthy" plants , where once you put the effort into planting your plant and spending the time and effort to get it established you want it to live. I have had great success over the years with Bordine plants surviving that it has become my go to Nursery store in the area. In this particular visit, I purchased two grapevines, Reliance and Canadice, That are a tad difficult to find and when you do will run you up to $50 per vine. At $19 a vine I feel I got a great deal and knowledge that the plants are healthy and in a good position to survive once planted. Not bad considering the alternatives. If you have a green thumb and have never been to a Bordines before you should definately check this business out.

One of the hanging baskets got lopsided. The other own got stem rot. I did not over water them and rotated them in the sunlight and sparingly fertilzed them. Coming here's a pleasure because their not a huge facility like Bordine's or Lowe's. Parking's tight but doable you just have to be careful when backing out since it's literally on Auburn Road, which is super busy and the speed limit's 50 MPH. They have a great selection of items to choose from, and prices are competitive and fair. What keeps me coming back is the staff. Their super friendly and are extremely knowledgeable. They also have regular sales and keep up with seasonal stuff like pumpkins, Christmas décor and other stuff as well. They also stand behind their products so if you buy a tree or plant, I think they will credit you if it does die. Don't quote me on that, but these guys really do stand behind what their selling. Overall a fabulous little nursery in a world of big box stores, we love coming here for just about anything!

They offer a good selection of mulch of different types of wood and colors as well as planting soil at competitive prices. They can arrange for delivery for an additional fee if you don't have your own truck. In addition to the above, they will provide a list upon request of their pricing for each type of mulch or soil as well as a list of contacts for independent companies that will deliver and spread the materials wherever you need it around your home. If you have questions about the mulch or anything else they sell, they are happy to answer them without making you fee like an idiot! They also have an information sheet with FAQs that may answer most of you questions. We're not quite ready to buy our mulch yet but Main's will be high on our list of companies to buy from.
