William was a pleasure to deal with and made our first experience with Mr Appliance of Marion County a great success! I certainly will use them when needed in the future.

Service technician came to service my Viking Appliance. Claims parts and service is no longer…read moreavailable due to age. I called Viking directly and was able to order the parts directly from the company. Mr Appliance charged me a diagnosis fee, just to tell me they will not be ordering parts because they are sold out world wide/not available due to age of the stove. I strongly do not recommend Mr. appliance , the only reason I contacted them because Viking listed them as the only repair certified technician for the area. I contacted Viking directly and let them know that Mr. appliance of Ocala needs to have their certification revisited or reevaluated. I've tried to call Mr. appliance to speak to a manager or supervisor to ask for a refund or some type of compensation because I wanted my stove fixed based on what Viking put as a reputable repair service business , Mr. appliance refuse to repair due to not being able to order parts. I ordered OEM parts directly from Viking, there was no valid reason not to service my stove. At the time of this writing, I am still waiting for a manager or supervisor to explain to me how I am able to order OEM parts, but their service technician claim the company cannot. I have my invoice with the technician notes , including my invoice for parts purchased from Viking Directly.

He went extra steps and found out why it hadn't been working and most likely prevented me from having a fire if I'd continued to try using it due to the control board and one of the switches being fried completely. Very honest and up front, professional. Went above and beyond! Highly recommend!

The worst!! I got an evaluation of my GE dryer, which was not removing the water from my clothes…read more The owner, Eris, claimed it needed a new pump, which would take 3 to 5 days to get in. I paid a $99.00 service fee. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER, he returned. After half an hour, Eris informed me that he could not remove the front panel--it had rusted onto the connectors--which were PLASTIC!! And he did not want to damage the porcelain. A general contractor, I got him some wood pieces, to protect the porcelain, while supplying sufficient force to pry the panel up and off without damaging it. He then asked if I had a mallet, which I provided him. He failed to budge the panel, insisting that these brittle little plastic pieces prevented the panel from coming off. Ridiculous. There had to be metal screws or other substantial fasteners, which he had missed. I suggested that he call GE Tech. He agreed. He lied. Then, to my shock, he and his assistant tried to sneak away around the back of the house without even speaking to me!! I confronted Eris, already in the running vehicle, to sign a statement that he was unable to repair the dryer and would refund the paid charge, as he had promised. What incompetence and deceit. After they left, I discovered that they had cracked the porcelain in two places, trying to pry the panel off with a screwdriver!! And never said a word!! Liars, incompetence, and deceit!

I have a tenant in the unit and asked them to call before any work was done. I had an initial charge of 69 dollars to come out and take a look which is very reasonable and competitive with most companies. Once the technician got there they called and left a message. I tried to contact the tech again several times but no one answered. Finally I had to call the company back and let them know I was trying to reach their technician at my unit. The gentleman then quoted me almost $500 stating that it was a very expensive part and so forth. I looked up the part and he was correct the part was $100 but they were charging the rest in labor?! I then let him know I would have to call him back because it was an old washer and dryer and for that cost it maybe best to invest my money elsewhere. After discussing it with my husband we decided to buy a new unit since we rent and would rather not have anymore trouble. Turns out when I called back they had already did the work on my unit!! Without my consent!!! Then charged me $300!! I couldn't believe it and had no choice but to pay. They ripped me off. I will never use them again.

He was knowledgeable and courteous, and he had that reassuring "can do" enthusiasm. He advised me that one appliance needed the attention of an electrician before anything else could be done, so that appliance ended up requiring two trips through no fault of his, but even so he ended up taking care of both appliances basically for the cost of one. It was actually a pleasure to deal with this appliance service!

Within 1.5 hours of his arrival, I had a load of laundry washing and a freezer ready to restock. His fees are very reasonable, especially for after 6p, and he told us he doesn't worry about the clock when people have appliance failures that disrupt the household. Definitely make Stuart the first call for your solution!

Contacted Stuart's Appliance Service at 352-877-0181 on 4/8/2023 as the first contact reaching out…read morefor services due to our refrigerator not keeping cold and food spoiling. Surprisingly we were able to speak with Stuart on that Saturday, the day before Easter, and set the service call for Monday 4/10/2023. Stuart arrived within the agreed timeframe. Upon this first visit Stuart diagnosed what he described as the issue of the coils in the back of the freezer icing up and not defrosting properly. He replaced three parts - Heating Element, Defrost Timer, and Defrost Switch. He insisted this would resolve the issues and the refrigerator would run perfect. The work which he provided was invoiced and billed for $324.xx we also provided a gratuity payment of $75 for the prompt scheduling and to which seemed the issue being resolved. Approximately 3 weeks after the first service call we noticed the refrigerator began to not keep cool again. Contacted Stuart within the first 30 days of the initial service date of 4/10/2023 and Stuart agreed to return to fix the issue. During the second visit, Stuart then expressed how it was now passed the 30 days and the his services were not guaranteed or in warranty any longer; we iterated we had contacted him prior to the 30 days expiring and the second service call was scheduled past the 30 days. He conducted the same process of manually defrosting the iced coils in the back of the freezer wall. And the unit worked, cooling the refrigerator, as expected for only approximately another 3 weeks. Contacted Stuart for the third time reporting the same problem reoccurring yet again. Stuart returned for a third visit and conducted the exact same process of manually defrosting the iced coils. Now, on 7/12/2023 once again our family realized yet again the same exact issue was still occurring, the refrigerator's temperature rising and not keeping our food products at the proper temperatures, food spoiling again, and worse of all not being able to control proper temperatures for a life saving medication that must remain refrigerated. Called Stuart on the same day of 7/12/2023 and the call seemed to be in a cordial agreement that the same issue that he was originally contacted about on 4/8/2023 was still unresolved and this was now the 3rd time since his first visit we have lost groceries due to the issue not being fixed properly. Stuart stated he would be unavailable until the following week until Monday 7/17/2023 and would call us. No call was received on 7/17/2023. On 7/18/2023 I called Stuart to follow up with the situation. At this time Stuart promptly and aggressively stated it was well past his 30 day warranty, to which I replied we had contacted him within the initial 30 days because the issue was occurring again. He then proceeded to express that he did not charge for the 2nd and 3rd visits, to which my response was that the repairs and service have yet to correct the issue and he was paid $400 in cash due to him not being able to accept payment from credit or debit cards for service that had not fixed the problem from the beginning. I'm attaching a photo screenshot of our original review; yes, at that time it appeared to have been fixed and we're grateful. However here it is 8/3/2023 and the first repair was conducted on 4/10/2023 as well as three additional visits that have still not fixed our refrigerator. We've attempted in good faith to allow Stuart to rightfully fix this issue repeatedly since 4/10/23 after billing us $325.xx; the last communication with Stuart he expressed he would be ordering a part from a supplier on 7/24/23. Did not hear from Stuart until we called him today, 8/3/23, to be ran in circles that he would pick up the part at a local shop. This has been an absolute nightmare and would nor could not recommend this business unfortunately.
