I contacted this company a year ago when my a/c unit died. I saw the LibertyAir sticker and decided to call bc they installed it with the previous owners. It was so hot in my apartment and they were able to assess. I ended up going with them to place a completely new HVAC system cost me 12K. It had an air scrubber that I was not forced but encouraged to get. I was never forced into anything. In fact, the tech that came in asked me questions bc he didn't want me to spend a lot of money on the a/c unit, which I appreciated. I ended up getting the a/c with all the bells and whistles. I was referred to their home loan program that lets you do 18 months with % interest, and that has been a life saver. So, I was actually really disappointed that within a year I had to contact them bc it was leaking and had a clog. They were able to come at night and unclog the pipe. I signed up for their every 6 month check/tune-up. So another couple hundred dollars there... I like the company a lot as they are responsive. I just wish that the tech that came didn't leave a mess on my carpet, but overall good experiences!

Very reasonable service charge, lowest for the area, prices not good....they were GREAT!!! Told by previous HVAC company it would need to be replaced but they evaluated the unit, made the repair and said we should get more life out of the unit. The tech went above and beyond and the work was guaranteed for 30 days. Highly recommend and can't say enough good things about them. Will use again if ever need HVAC work done.

Here's the summary: Despite having a maintenance agreement with Browning, two regular inspections did not uncover a basic visual condition that would have prevented a significant leak and property damage. And when explained to the owner, he denied responsibility, blamed it on an installer from years earlier, and told me to speak with his lawyer. Here's the details. In October, 2025, I paid for a one-year a/c maintenance agreement from Browning. Browning attests on its website that with its "full-service maintenance plans . . . [w]e'll assess your entire system." The invoice for that agreement lists a variety of tasks they would perform at each visit. Those tasks include "clean drain pan" of the attic air handler. The air handler includes a primary drain pan and a secondary/emergency drain pan for collection of condensate. Browning performed its first maintenance in October, 2025, did the usual checks, and noted that the system worked. Six months later, on April 2, 2026, Browning performed the second scheduled maintenance. The report from that day checks off that the condensate drain pan was cleaned and states that the a/c unit was left in working order. On Saturday, August 8, 2026, I returned from a vacation to find ceiling drywall and insulation on my floor, water damage to walls and flooring, and the air conditioner off. I went to the attic and found water accumulated under the air handler, flooding the ceiling drywall underneath it. I called Browning and reached the technician on duty for weekend emergencies. He arrived the next morning and inspected the unit. The problem: the primary drain plug was absent and the secondary drain plug was not seated well in the pan. These plugs are to prevent water from leaking from the drain pans. These are the technician's quotes from the invoice for that work: "Found that primary drain pan was missing a plug on the backside of the unit, causing the water to flow into the cabinet [] then out into the secondary drain pan. [B]ut secondary drain pan leaked residual water around rubber gasket." The tech "repositioned rubber gasket to prevent future leaks." He also "found [the] drain pan plug and inserted it in place." If plugs were in proper place earlier, a sensor would have tripped and turned off the unit well before any leaking of water in the attic. I then paid for that service and told the tech to inform the owner, Mark Browning, that I would call him Monday morning to discuss this. I also hired ServPro, who came, stabilized the water damage, and placed nine fans/de-humidifiers to dry the walls and ceiling. I called Browning's office Monday. When Mr. Browning returned my call, I explained that I believed the damage was Browning's fault because the maintenance checks include an inspection and cleaning of drain pans. In fact, Browning's website states that "[r]outine preventative maintenance helps technicians identify drainage issues before they lead to water damage." The website also states that inspection is straightforward for a professional: "The condition of the drain pan can be inspected while the unit is off by using a flashlight and about a gallon of water - but inspections are best left to the professionals." On the call, however, Mr. Browning took no responsibility and instead blamed the absence of plugs on the company that installed the unit years earlier. I explained that even if that were the case, I hired and paid Browning for routine maintenance to find and remedy routine issues with the unit. Mr. Browning ended the conversation telling me that I'd have to take this up with his lawyer. Please consider these facts when deciding which a/c service company to hire.

Their tech, Joshua tells me the blower motor is bad. Cost to replace over 2K. After some slick talking he convinces me to drop 9K on a whole new system. Thankfully I got bad vibes and called Babiones. Two techs arrive promptly (within 3 hours). The lead tech, Jeremy says the motor is fine but it was not getting a "call" AKA signal to ramp up. He does some diagnostics and finds a bad thermostat ($260) Big difference in price!! Basically Mid Fla was unethical and dishonest. They did many other unethical things but you read about their tactics in my review about them on Yelp or Google. This is about Babiones and as I said at the outset they are honest and ethical. Sad to think that in the heat of the summer companies like Mid Fla prey on seniors on a fixed income. Hats off to Babiones. I intend to find the biggest megaphone I can and spread the good word. He was able to book and accommodate to timing. His technician came during the stated arrival window and completed the dryer vent cleaning within a decent time frame. They changed the tubing to a newer one that won't catch on fire as easily. I also joined their program where they come and check on the dryer on a regular basis. I highly recommend this company. The owner David was extremely kind and his technician did a great job of explaining things to me.
