We did a house renovation and worked closely with Home Art Tile to supply the materials for our kitchen and bathrooms. Specifically, we ordered: - Kitchen Cabinets - Kitchen countertop - Kitchen sink - Wall and floor tiles - door saddles and bathtub niche saddles For the kitchen, they had their kitchen specialist come to the house and take exact measurements and then Mike worked with us to come up with the type of kitchen cabinets, layout, and details we wanted. He worked with us on several variations until we decided on the final layout. It was a fairly easy process and he was very detailed (and patient) with us to figure out what we wanted and what would look nice. We worked with others there to figure out the tiles that we needed. We ordered tiles for our kitchen floor, kitchen walls, bathroom floors, bathroom walls, shower tiles, and shower niches. The guys, who we worked with, remembered us each time we called or came in to order more tiles. Important lesson, order more of what you need so you don't have to keep coming back to pick up the tiles. They do delivery but at a cost. Overall, we liked the selection of tiles and cabinets they had. Everything looked perfect and we enjoyed the quality of the materials we ordered. Also service was amazing there. read more

After a pipe broke in my 1949 apartment bathroom, I really had no choice to bite the bullet and renovation the whole bathroom. I wasn't looking forward to it - I hate these projects as they always seem overwhelming and expensive. But Home Art Tile was a port in the storm. I worked with Omer who was super patient and calming and made me feel like I could figure this out and get it done. We looked a little bit at the tiles that were out and once he got a feel for what I was interested in (larger, ceramic tiles with a marble look), he showed me options. And he explained why some people might choose one over the other. But within an hour or so, I had the tile picked out. I also knew that I wanted a border and while I was looking for "color" and "bling", Omer showed me what I was looking for but then also showed me some borders that were a little more subtle (but still had a little of bling!). That was really helpful because Omer was right, the more subtle border does look amazing in my bathroom. And then to go with the white tiles, Omer showed me some darker floors which look great. I did thought make sure that all of the materials were "in" which was important to me so that the contractor could get the job done in 3 weeks. Sure enough, when my contractor was ready to do the tile, he just showed up to Home Art Tile and they put together my order. Home Art Tile made what I thought was going to be time-consuming job - picking out tile - an easy, one day event! While everyone at the store seemed really great, I really enjoyed working with Omer as his calming presence was a welcome refuge. And in the end, the price was great for high quality tile - better than any of the other places I looked at. Highly recommend Home Art Tiles. I thought I knew what I wanted coming in but, there are ideas galore in this showroom and you might wind up leaving with reasonable doubt. During my home renovation, I got all my tile (kitchen floor, bathroom floor and bathroom wall) from Home Art. They have so many different kinds of tile with varying price ranges and materials. The store is set up with mock sink areas so you can get different ideas for how certain materials and colors look together. They also have cabinets, counter-tops and hardware. They have a lot in stock in their warehouse next door or they can special order. The guys who work here are the best - extremely friendly and helpful. I came here so many times over the course of two months. Every time I came in, they would welcome me with a smile and immediate assistance. The first was when I wanted to check out their inventory - they were welcoming but there was no pressure. They let me browse on my own and didn't hover around. When I decided to order my tile from them, they were great in helping me choose. There are so many choices and they would go around the store pulling different samples out so I could compare colors and materials. They also knew exactly how many sq. ft or boxes I needed based on my space measurements. I had one tile that was special order and it only took 4 days to come in. During renovation, other items would come up that I didn't originally think about and Home Art was able to provide them. They helped me pick out coordinating saddles for the doorways and top border caps for my bathroom wall tiles. The service is what makes them really great. read more

I was nervous about finding a vendor to replace our existing countertop and backsplash, particularly since it wasn't a large job. We recently completed extensive construction on our Brooklyn home, so I was not confident that this smaller job would not slip through the cracks. WOULD GIVE ZARO STARS IF I COULD. Only worked with unprofessional place due to a unprofessional contractor. Both were horrible and stupid. We ordered custom kitchen cabinets, spent more money than we should because they designed the kitchen cabinets wrong the first time and it took longer than expected, they sent the wrong sizes, pieces of cabinets and not enough cabinets and molding. They then charged us to get the correct cabinets that would fit because they didn't accept that it was their mistake, so didn't our contractor. And the final products came damaged. (Pictures will be attached) They didnt send us enough molding so after firing the contractor we had to get in contact with them ourselves. We went there to get more molding they said it would be 50+ then 15-20 dollars shipping, I was like is it 15 or 20, they calculated the distance and said 20. It would be in our hands 1-2 weeks latest, it's now 5 weeks. I contacted them at 4 weeks, spoke with the manager Miguel he said it would be express shipping, when I called back today (5 week mark) hes like a worker lives near you so when attempting to deliver no one was home and you didnt answer (playing games) I was like oh yeah then ask the guy what my house looks like (got caught lying) hes like he was around the area so he called before he came, again caught in a lie, so how did you know I wasn't home. You see the unprofessionalism, rude and horrible service my family and I received. I'm still waiting for my refund on my "shipping" of 20 bucks, I don't care if its 1, 20 or 100 dollars for shipping, it's past the arrival date and I'm not going to give them another penny because they deserve nothing except this review. read more

Home Art Tile on Northern Blvd is a great place for all your tile needs, and more. All the staff members were extremely helpful and patient, specially Omer. The staff at Home Art Tile answered all questions clearly and offered opinions when needed. This was very important to my wife and I, as we are novices with renovations. We knew renovations would be difficult for us, as we have little time for mistakes. This was our first bathroom renovation, but getting the tiles and associated items was very stress-free. They really want to help and assure renovation your renovation projects are successful. They definitely go above and beyond. I paid for tiles, grout and other items (soap dish) and Omer coordinated with my contractor to have all the items picked up. The wife and I did not have to micro manage the delivery (done by contractor). Since I had an extra box of tiles, the return was handled without any problems. By the way, the tile selection was vast. Decent selection packed into a tight space. You really have to dig though. Don't bother going unless you are the correct race. Went twice. I went first...wife and I had to take turns watching the kids in the car. First time, spent 15 mins. in the store looking around, went up to the front with samples to get pricing. Employees/owners just sitting around chatting. Couldn't get anyone to acknowledge me. A middle eastern woman walks in and 3 of them jumped up to help. The other 2 just kept chatting and ignoring my requests for help. I gave up and sent my wife in. She's caucasian but made the mistake of announcing that she was married to the Chinese guy that just walked out 2 secs ago, and where were the samples that I was interested in? No help for her either. A week later...go back. Ready to buy. Grab the same samples, head up to the front. 5 guys sitting chatting. "Can I get some help please?" Nothing. "I'm trying to get prices for this stuff. Anyone?" Nothing. These guys are all within 5 feet of me. No customers. I put down the samples and yell to the owner "you really need to work on your customer service." He responds "sorry...we're first come first serve here". I was going to let it go, but my wife had to drive around the block, I was standing right outside waiting, and I was mad. Went back in. "Who here is a customer?" Nothing. "OK, first come first served. Who exactly are you serving or are all you all doing nothing?" Nothing, except one of the guys gets up and leaves. "You just lost a $4K sale" and I storm out...4 feet to the curb. Still had to stand 10 ft from these guys right outside waiting for my wife to come get me. After several minutes one of the remaining guys comes out and says "if you're ready to buy, we will sell to you." I told him to get lost. He starts arguing with me...long story short, no apology, whole conversation is why it was all my fault that I didn't get help. He ends with "well, you can't really blame us can you? How are we supposed to know that you aren't just like the rest of your people?" Remember...this guy thinks he can still land this sale...this is part of his strategy to disarm me. read more

Just came from Home Art Tile. Horrible service. There's no one to help you. You don't even get greeted. There's lack of staff. I finally had to ask a staff member that looked like he work at the warehouse. He didn't seem to have knowledge about the product but at least he acknowledged me and my family. He try to get us help from a sales guy. The sales guy was on his phone texting and didn't even look at our direction when the stock guy told him that these customers have questions. I don't know how businesses like these make it when there's so competition. We're now going to college point and buying our tiles and vanity. I decided to come here first before deciding to buy at college point since yelp reviews were so positive. I really had high hopes for Home art tile. Unfortunately, the yelp reviews were the complete opposite for me and my family. read more

Referred here by a friend of mine and I regret taking his advice. Found a tile that we liked and placed an order after being told we would have it by that Friday. Friday came and went but the tiles didn't so we lost a weekend of production (if only that was all we lost). Finally told the following week that the tile was in, and when I went to pick it up I asked them to open the pallet to inspect. I noticed the trim tile was not what we ordered. Long story short, we ordered porcelain tile and after catching them were told that because the trim tile wasn't available from the same manufacturer they substituted a different trim tile. Unfortunately, it was a different size in a different material from a different manufacturer in a slightly different color. Trying give a customer a product that was so obviously mismatched, particularly without telling them you were doing it, is unconscionable. We cancelled the order and now have to start looking for tile all over again. Buyer beware!!! read more

After comparison shopping at many cabinet and tile places for our gut kitchen renovation, we decided to get our cabinets, countertops, and tiles from here. We were very impressed with the warm and hospitable staff who seemed to bend over backwards to help-- finding us obscure countertop colors that we wanted, playing around with the diagrams with us, and working with us to get last minute details/features like a spice rack, molding, and other things. These guys were NICE and we really enjoyed interacting with them. And since we bought multiple things from them-- and went back repeatedly-- I felt like they worked to give us the best prices possible. these kitchen cabinets are chinese garbage. the hardware cannot handle the opening and closing, especially the corner cabinets that i have to constantly tighten them. in fact, the screws wont even screw in anymore. no one come to fix the issue. i would not recommend this place read more
