I first came a cross this business by living directly across the street, of course at that time it was under a different management. This year, as I was preparing to move I began to yelp around to find a storage unit complex that would meet my needs. I did not have to look far, the first place that popped up was this business! I said to myself, "hey, why not?" First, I called to inquire about how to get started and if I would be able to get a Dollie. I can not remember who I spoke to directly but she was extremely helpful. Later on that day, I went online just to see how big these units were and the pricing; there happened to be an online special going on for the unit size that I was searching for. I filled out all my information online & paid for my storage unit, it took me less than 10 minutes and I received confirmation in my email immediately. A few days passed by before I actually went into the office but when I finally did, I finished up paper work which consist of an agreement of what I can put in storage, a copy of my ID, and if I wanted another individual's name listed or not; the basic stuff. This is the first time I have ever rented a storage unit and so far it has been a very good experience for me. The ladies at the front office counters are extremely nice! I come in, sign in on the log with my name, time, and storage unit no. Then I am given the red keychain with the key that allows me to open my storage unit door (they're listed in Alphabetical Order then each door has a number assigned). After I am done, I proceed back to the office to return the key & check out. One time, there was a sign on the door that said "back in 5 minutes" I ended up dropping the red keychain with the key in the mail slot since there was also a sign that said I could do that. So far, I am very happy with the services here and I will continue to keep my belongings here as long as I need them to be in storage. read more

So I was very happy that the new owners had turned a leaf for this place, So much I referred my family member to rent a storage because of the great prices and new hours, I was wrong - Military members- do not rent here -beware!! When you go to sign someone up on your storage, place them on your account, state that they are authorized to access your belongings and manage that account..... it does not mean anything!!!!! We lost the key to the storage right after we moved everything in as we were getting ready for a deployment, we were told by Maureen that we would be able to gain access to the storage no problem and she would even waive the 15.00 fee to open it up for us -one time only. All we had to do was call her ahead of time so that she could have the tools needed to open the lock. My son went to gain access (also was placed on the account) to the storage and the gal turned him away,not Maureen but another woman claiming not to know anything about this arrangement. Picture this- this was not a simple drive over, it is 100 degrees outside, you have a vehicle full of items that needed to go in and it is 40 minutes before they close. Also you are paying over 200.00 a month and for same strange reason, our name on the account means nothing? we cannot have access? What changed ? We are told we now have to have our service member send a copy of their id card to them. A fax copy. lets think about this now, while deployed over seas, who can easily do this? no one i know of. I mean floating n the middle of the gulf, send a fax... it is down right stupid. so this storage is being paid for and with no real resolutions to gaining access. What a huge disappointment as I recommended my family here. The only time they tried to rectify this was AFTER we closed the storage and AFTER i wrote this YELP, they could not give a far fig newton about this until then. I am embarrassed and disgusted the way this has turned out. The gal (Lori) that answered the phone tried to say that the law requires,, etc etc. Well then why would we waste time on adding people to the list of people able to handle the account and have access to the storage if it doesn't mean anything when we need to get access. I will not recommend this place EVER again and for the hassle I wont be coming back. As soon as our family member returned we got his things out of hostage from Super Storage, Poor business practice and they do not stand by their word. Nowadays may not seem like much to some people but to me it means more than my weight in gold. read more

I am extremely satisfied with the service and security of this place. I saw the reviews on yelp, and decided I would give them a call anyways and get a feel for this place myself. When I called, they answered right away and I spoke with the manager. She was both helpful and engaged when I asked her about more information about this place. When I went in, the service was just as great as the phone. I was assisted right away and felt very welcome. The manager was very respectful and had a very personable vibe. I think people may have had bad experiences with the previous managers, but I am very pleased with my experience under the new management. read more

This place is great Mayra is the nicest customer service attendant.. i only waited a minute or two with my ID i was done in a few moments. A Free lock is cool too. I would like to thank Mayra for being so nice, because I had a long day. And if she wasn't so nice my husband would have taken me somewhere else. Hi guys I rented storage from super storage. It was fantastic. And Lori did everything to just help us. To make sure we're satisfied with our need. I will recommend to my friends and my family. I was looking for a storage unit in the area and I came across this location. I was helped by the manager Lori. She was very polite and professional. She found me an excellent unit that was just the size I needed at the right price. She went out of her way to help me get a unit that was easily accessible. If I could I would give this place a -3 starts. The young Hispanic girl that works there was super friendly and nice but The old lady that works there... Well The lady called me and left a voice message super rude tell me to get there asap to clean the bed of the truck I had rented. When I got there she had already done it. And charged me 28$ for a bolt that she had to clean. She was also upset because I didn't till the tank when the tank wasn't even full when I got it...(i have pics). This place will charge you for breathing. I will not return nor will send anyone there. Horrible. read more

Went there to look at units and get pricing. Of coarse the first thing I asked was how much the units cost. Well... I was blown away let me tell you. The prices were almost double that of the other places I looked and in a much worse part of town. I thought the lady had messed up when she told me pricing and when I told her that this was double everything else that I had looked at she rudely told me that if I can get it cheaper somewhere else I should go there. Then she turned around and quit helping. I wanted to look at the units, maybe there was some reason that the were almost $150 more a month for a unit the same size in a safer part of town. I don't think this place really needs any new customers. I guess if you over charge the ones you have then you can treat the potential customers like crap and not worry about it. read more

Omg this is one of the worst places to store your furniture Maureen has the most forgetful memories she always lying about the unit prices .I've had furniture in there possession for about a little over two years and I have been going through hell and back with these storage rip off. The reason I'm writing this post is please watch out for lorie and Maureen they are not the nicest ladies to deal with they overcharge you every other week with a different amount of what you owe but I got a lawyer to look over my case about overcharging and them lying about advertising prices 75dollars to advertise your stuff in the paper or to place an ad for the auctions. Please beware of this ripoff know as SUPER STORAGE located in east San Diego. read more
