When I first visited AAAA's facility in the heart of San Diego, I was immediately impressed with the security and cleanliness of the facility as well as the professionalism of the staff. Now that my two Ferraris have enjoyed the facilitiies for several months, I am happy to report that the service is everything that I hoped for, everything that I was promised, and much more. I couldn't be more happy with how my cars have been stored or the ready access I have been accorded. My cars are stored covered inside a spotless warehouse with their trickle-down chargers continuously plugged in. Note that most storage facilities don't offer electrical connections or permit "out and back in access." But I can take either of the cars out for a run by simply notifying the staff the day before, and the selected car is waiting for me when I arrive. Before I decided Tht I would have to place the cars in storage for a number of months while a construction project at my home prceeded, I worried that I wouldn't be able to drive them frequently enough to keep them in good running order but the system at AAAA is working very well for me and my cars. My car was stolen while in the custody of AAAA. They were not storing my vehicle in their main lot but a small lot in Otay Mesa without letting me know that my car was moved to a different facility. The security at that facility appears to have been inadequate with several days passing before they realized the fenced lot had been broken into and my car removed. It also took them nearly a week to notify me that it had been stolen. Their insurance did eventually cover the loss after ~3 months but the whole process was stressful and the experience left me deeply unsatisfied with this company. read more

Active duty military do not use this company!!! I had my truck in storage with is company for over two years. When I was returning to California, I gave them about three months notice that I would be coming back. I was going on a tight time line do to schools and class start dates. During my correspondence with them they informed that they would be able to get my truck registered and smog before I returned as long as I had insurance on the truck for at least a month prior to returning. When the smog process started they informed me that a check engine light and come on and they would need to get it checked out. I give them the go ahead they tell me it's an 02 sensor that needs to get replaced. Knowing that they go out a lot I'm ok with this, $256 later they still have an issues they come back and tell me it's the catalytic converter that's gone bad and I'm missing a sticker on my intake that is needed for the smog. All this is brought up about a week before I return to California. When you're PCSing this is not what you want to hear on a short time line. 1st I know the sticker was on my truck before I left because I had just gotten the smog done oh and btw I had both catalytic converter's replaces too. I informed the that I didn't really trust what was going on and I would take care of it myself when I returned. After I picked up my truck I started noticing a few issues 1st the tail gate handle was broken, they had replaced a battery and when they did the broke the windshield fluid line. lastly and this one I can't prove but they were supposed to rotate the tires to prevent flat spots from forming I do not believe this was done. Kevin tried to tell me that they would send me money for the handle and would not pay for the damaged line. Due to all the issues and the knowing that I am already out of state I'm kind of stuck at this point. I got them to agree to pay the labor but that whole process was a massive pain with Kevin telling me that it's not that big of a deal and the legally don't have to pay for any damage to the truck because it already left their property. When I get the truck I take it to a trusted mechanic he tells me everything on my truck is fine he resets the Computer and says take it for a drive and come back tomorrow and we will smog it. Guess what it passes and I can get it registered the same day. I'm pretty sure that these guys take advantage of active duty because they know we do not have the time to try and fight them on wrong doings. So if you do use them please be careful and take as many photos or video to protect yourself. read more

The staff here is amazingly accommodating and beyond professional. They stored my friend's vehicle while he was on deployment. During that time, they helped me get his vehicle smogged and changed the oil to keep his registration current. The entire process couldn't have been easier! Towards the end of my friend's deployment, I didn't realize that needed to provide advance notice to have his vehicle released from storage. They absolutely moved mountains to have his vehicle prepped for release in just a few hours. The service was AAAA! I took a job in the Bay Area and needed to store my 1984 Mercedes 380 SL within 3 weeks of giving my notice. I found Aaaa Auto Storage & Park on Yelp. Reviews were positive so I called. The agent explained the services and prices. I thought it was reasonable so I went to the office to meet with the staff. The location is in a very low trafficked and quiet area. The facility is very clean and the lot is well maintained with solid fences. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, I was very impressed. Since then I have traveled back and forth between the BA and SD a few times. The first time I came back I didn't provide the required 5-day notice to have them prepare the car for me to pick up. In fact, I think I only gave them a day or two notice. I'd forgotten that I needed to give them the 5 days. However, Kevin, the GM and the owner's son, who is a really good guy I've come to learn, worked with me to have the car ready for my pick up. The next time I came in was after my father passed. Again, I didn't give Kevin the 5-day notice. And again he worked with me so I could pick up the car on short notice. He respected my family emergency and did so without hesitation. I could say more about how genuine Kevin and his staff are, how they entertained my 7y/o son when he asked all about the cars being stored, and how kind they were to my wife when she called requesting special accommodation, but suffice it to say that I'm really thankful that Kevin is taking care of my Mercedes. Initially, not knowing anything about auto storage in San Diego, I had to toss a coin and take an educated guess going off reviews - on Yelp. I was skeptical. That bet has paid off handsomely. I am particular about my cars - door dings, bumper rash, curb rash on wheels, scraping the front air dam, even wearing of the seat side bolster getting in and out - I watch all these things and go to great pains to avoid them. Stay away from it if you have a choice! I have done a lot of research before leaving my car at this place to go overseas. I was very excited and very happy that this would be the perfect place to store my car and have it cared for while I am away for 2 years. I decided to go with the indoor choice, you pay more than the outside lot, and have your car started and run for 15 minutes a week, have battery checked, tires checked, oil changed every 6 months or so. I came back after exactly two years to pick up my car, I was very excited to do so and I gave them a call. They said that the car is not ready to be picked up, because they need to check the battery because it has been two years and most likely the battery is no longer working and needs to be charged, they also said that the tires need to be checked as well, and they need to find the car in the midst of the big inventory. I informed them that in such case how would I know that they have been doing what they claimed they would do for the past two years??!! For all I know my car could have been left in the outside lot for 2 years without anyone even touching it!! My car was a one year used car!! They said that if I would like to have soon, the best they could do is next day and they would charge $75 for the short notice because it is a big inconvenience as it was listed on the contract that I have signed two years ago. And they would not even think about allowing me to see it by "surprise" to see how it has been and in what condition and how it has been treated for the past two years or even recently. I went to pick it up next day, it was looking good as the day that I have left it two years ago, and I was happy with that. I went in to check it out and I spoke with the manager or the owner and I told him that I paid thousands for the past two years, whatever happened and whatever they did or not do I can not be sure of at this point, I would have never doubted it if they did not say all these things about the car not being ready, I told him I am really not happy with the extra " rush " charge, and if they would charge it I would never come back again, he said " well, we know we are the best, we are sorry you feel this way, but you will not find a better place so it is your loss!". I do not know about others, but as far as I am concerned I do not appreciate such place, and I still remember it as an overall negative experience, definitely would not trust leaving my cars over there, and I thought that others whom do homework and would like to know about this place would benefit from learning about my experience.
