I would not purchase from this establishment. My first time experience was degrading. When I…read morecalled inquiring about Delta vanity and roman tub facets the receptionist assumed that was not a plumber. She immediately start correcting my verbiage when she knew what I was talking about. I told her that I would come to review some of the facets that were available. She told me that I had to have an appointment to visit there show room. Which she said was not open. She also told me that I had to work through a plumber to visit and purchase items. I told here that I was a license plumber and thanked her for her candor. She hurried off the phone. I guess with an area code of 630 she assumed that I was not a plumber. Or that my articulation with words was not welcomed by her. I was left with the feeling that this southern Illinois plumbing establishment is not people friendly.

I have lived in town over 20 years and really enjoy Ace Hardware. Sometimes you need the big box…read morestores but so often you need a few things or real help with a project, that they can not give you. Parking is ample and the lot is well lit. Propane gas is available for refill or tank swap. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I go there I am greeted with a smile on entry and asked if I need assistance. The staff is very knowledgeable and I can always get help with whatever project I am doing. They offer a military discount and a rewards program that are very helpful. Whether you need to get your lawn back in shape or tools for a job Ace is the Place!!! And the staff really is helpful!! My next project is getting the yard ready for Spring so seeds are mulch are on the list for this week.

This store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Attempted delivery of correct items failed due to lack of proper communication from the store and they are now refusing to deliver my order when I tell them I will be at home for the exchange. Advise that no one else do business with this store, or even Ace Hardware at all if this is their standards for customer support.
