Absolute Nightmare - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been, without a doubt, the most frustrating consumer experience of my entire life. The "Service" (or lack thereof): We had a technician come out and repair our fridge. We got charged way over $1,000.00 for a replacement part - just to realize that the problem was not solved. After various additional visits, the technician gave up - and said there is no solution. At that point we (of course) asked for a refund. That's when the 'service' stopped. Entirely. The Phone Hell: Trying to get an update is a full-time job. I have spent a combined total of over six hours on hold with this company. When--and if--someone finally picks up, they are rude, dismissive, and constantly refer to a 'manager' (who is NEVER available, and ALWAYS in meetings...) needing to weigh in. Twice, I was "accidentally" disconnected after waiting 45 minutes. To call this frustrating does not even begin to cover the agony (and waste of time). The Stalling: Every time I actually get a human on the line, the story changes. Every call ended with "We will do this by tomorrow." or "You will hear from us by next week." or "My manager will call you back this evening." None of those things actually ever happened. It was blatantly obvious they are just stalling to keep the money without doing the work. It took us WEEKS to finally get our money back. The Verdict: Save yourself the headache, the wasted time, and the money. Do not go into business with them. Find literally anyone else.

Mr. Appliance encourages online scheduling which I did on Sunday, March 29, 2026. The website…read moreoffered Monday afternoon, March 30, as the first available date. I chose Monday afternoon, March 30, and the website sent an e-mail confirming the date, between 12 noon and 4 pm. On Monday, at 1:45 pm, I called the telephone number provided to ask when the technician would arrive. The local Mr. Appliance person said that my appointment is scheduled for Tuesday instead of Monday. I protested to no avail. The excuse is the Richmond office is closed on Sunday. Thus, the Mr. Appliance website CANNOT BE TRUSTED to make an honest appointment. I will report, again, after the technician visits, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31.

Avoid this company at all cost. They were supposed to install a dishwasher we purchased. That's it…read more Their guy showed up and said the floor was too high and he couldn't get it to fit...which we knew wasn't true because it was the same dimensions as our old one. You just have to shimmy it in, that's literally it. After a week of back and forth with their office, we finally asked to speak with the owner which must have scared them because all of a sudden they told us they could install it and would send someone out. Welp. That day came and they never showed up. No phone call or contact from them whatsoever. We called multiple times and left a voicemail asking why they didn't show and when we could expect them to actually come install it. They never called back. Just radiosilence from them. I have never seen such unprofessional conduct from any company ever. So we called another company and they sent someone out the same day and installed the dishwasher without any issues whatsoever. Weird how that works, huh?

I used this company through my insurance. The first technician, Brandon, was nice with no issues on…read morehis service ( he also fixed our dryer in the past). The technician (Trey) that came out to repair our dishwasher twice (same reason never fixed) was very rude and aggressive. I am a pregnant stay a home mother, dealing with a disrespectful man in my home all because I was asking simple questions about the dishwasher he claim was fixed. After quickly looking at it again the second appointment he said he did nothing to it, it was already fixed. I assured him it was not drying and that I just used it this morning. I asked a few questions about what could be wrong with it. He started to get an attitude saying he will order something for the rinse aid to see if that is the problem, but you aren't getting a new dishwasher- which seems to me he's experimenting until he can actually fix it. Noticing his demeanor, I asked was there a problem for a customer to have a normal conversation with him about the service. It appears race seems to be an issue with him if I was nothing but kind to the man and he gave me disrespectful attitude in return. On top of that he was late to the appointment didn't bother calling, my husband called to see if he was still coming since it was after the timeframe scheduled. The first appointment he gave me weird vibes- very short , in and out, no conversation to what was done just claimed he fixed the dishwasher. Yet, we were still having the same issue- dishes not drying and white chalky residue on the dishes. Second time he really showed his true colors. He refused to give me a card with his name, his manager's contact information and a receipt of his visit. I am very disappointed in the service received today. I will be contacting my homeowner's insurance about this company, I have also reached out to the owner Chis. **Update** Technician lied on his report to insurance that dishwasher was already fixed from his last visit- reported his fraudulent report with them. Also no luck from the owner Chis, he will take no accountability for his employees actions, didn't even apologize for my experience. Avoid this company unless you want multiple service calls for the same issue and unprofessional service/attitude.

Our dryer died. It…read morewas unexpected only because we expected the washer to go first. I spent hours looking at reviews, applying for a box store credit card, loading up my shopping cart with extended warranties and parts only to come to the very end where the box store indicated that the product I wanted could be delivered, but there was no professional installation available. Say what??? Everyone knows that if you don't have their installers handle the installation, the moment you try to use that extended warranty that you've purchased they will tell you, "the warranty was voided by the installer." NOPE, not going to happen. So I came on yelp. Appliances on Lakeside had great reviews, was local, and nearby. Couldn't ask for more. We walked into the store and were greeted immediately. Mr. Ray came over to help us. I explained that I was looking at their GE machines on-line and we wanted to purchase a washer and dryer. I went from the top-of-the-line to a "lower" model because I really didn't want all the bells and whistles (15 functions???? I need maybe 3 and no, I don't need wifi because honestly, I don't care if my wash is done - I'll move it to the dryer when I get to it). Mr. Ray looked up the machine I was interested in, and while it was going to take at least 3 weeks for delivery, the price was even less than what was on the show room model. I like less. The installation (professional!) along with the recycling of the existing is all one price. The parts (new hoses are a must) were less than the box store. The warranty (same amount of time and basically the same price) is actually BETTER than what the box store covers. I'm liking local. I like walking out of a showroom happy about my purchase.

The washer was making loud sounds so I called and tried to make an appointment. I was told they do not service stackables. Sold me on stackable then left me hanging. Previously I purchased a refridgerater, stove, washer and dryer from Lakeside-I will never buy from them again.
