Contact with the business with consistent and very helpful. The parts needed were covered under warranty, but took a few weeks to arrive. They got me on their schedule first thing and were in and out in less than an hour! My dishwasher is good as new. read more

Hired them to repair my mother's Thermador fan over her stove top. They showed up & basically said yes it doesn't work, they can't get parts, even though they are clearly available online, charged $165. & then left. Didn't even confirm if it was the switch or motor that was malfunctioning. read more

When other companies would not even return my calls (including other firms I have reviewed here) I was referred to Appliance Doctor by a fellow yelper. What a great recommendation! Mr. Jenkins called me the same day, asked a few screening questions to pinpoint the problem, and was at my house within three hours. He walked me through the problem, gave me the option of ordering the needed circuit board for my fridge and fixing it myself to save money, and when I chose to have him do the job he got it done quickly and then stuck around long enough to make sure everything was cycling on and off properly. He pointed out some emerging issues with my fridge but did not pressure me to fix them. The price was very reasonable, he was very responsive, and he had the parts on-hand to fix my problem. I had the same experience as Eddie G (who wrote his review below. I probably had the same rude and attitude-filled repairman that he had. Guy came out to repair our dishwasher, stayed an hour, couldn't fix it, and told us to get an electrician to get power to the dishwasher then he would come out and complete the repair for no additional charge. He came out after we got the electrician to do his job. Power restored. He got the dishwasher working in about five minutes but only after peppering me with aggressive questions, rude generalizations, suspicion of the electrician, of me and how I use the dishwasher . . . it was just awful. Then he had the nerve to go back on his word and ask for another payment! I refused, holding him to his word, and he left angry. Positively one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a repairman coming into my home. read more

If you are in need of a large appliance this is the place to go. Their customer service is top notch. They will help you with selection based upon needs, price point and space. We have bought several appliances from this company. The installation is always perfect. They can cut granite if needed for an appliance to fit. They also have a service department, if you ever need an appliance worked on. I will never buy another appliance any where else. read more

I called and left a message about my 20 year old Maytag washing machine problem. The owner returned my call promptly and politely explained that he doesn't service my older model because parts were probably no longer available. When I asked him what I should do, he took the time to walk me through a possible fix. He stayed on the phone with me while I step-by-step followed his instruction. And dang if it didn't work! So this guy, that knew he wasn't going to make any money off of me, took the time to troubleshoot the problem, and walk me through a fix! We had a really bad experience. Although the technician showed up on time, that's where the great experience stopped The technician was rude and a know it all. It was like he was apprehensive about a simple dishwasher fill valve repair. Being self employed and dealing daily with the public I'm in many homes weekly myself. If id acted like this gentlemen I wouldn't be allowed back in anyone's home. My wife who is typically easy going and laid back had such a unhappy experience was about to throw him out before he had even finished. I hope we just caught him on a bad day. He did fix the appliance as requested and in a timely manner, just his attitude was the worst I've seen in my 22 years of self employment. read more

The news I got was not good-- but it was honest. This was the second place I called. The tech told me that he was booked out a week, but I took the appointment. The tech called me at 8am-- and told me he was en route. When the tech got here-- he noticed things that 5 years of Samsung warranty claims did not. Long and short of it-- they did what they said they were going to do-- when they said they were going to do it. He is a hair higher on the service call pricing--- but was well worth it. He advised against repairing my fridge (due to the nature of Samsung) --- and gave me some brands to look at... Will recommend these to other people. read more

Called because my dishwasher wasn't draining. I left a message and within a few minutes I received a call back. I believe I spoke with David. He was very polite and told me a few things to check and walked me through how to check each possible issue it might be before scheduling an appointment. It turned out the plumber that installed my garbage disposal did not pop out the plug after the installation. I cannot thank him enough for helping me fix the issue on my own instead of just scheduling an appointment and charging me $100+ dollars to come out for something this simple. I have no idea who these guys who left the 5 stars where using and maybe this place is under new ownership but I called and all I got was flack for wanting my old appliances fixed. The guy, sight unseen, was trying to sell me new appliances. Plus his attitude was disrespectful and demeaning. I didn't even bother to have him come out and look at my appliances. read more

I would give less than one star but that isn't possible. He came out to fix our dishwasher (which is unfixable) and when he drained the dishwasher he and flooded the area under our sink causing damage. The wooden laminate floor boards in our kitchen are also ruined and he is denying any fault :( There is NO leak anywhere under the sink and we didn't have this damage before he came out, only after. Would definitely not recommend using his services. read more

He could have easily ordered the part, charged me a retail upcharge and scheduled a repair with costs. David is honest, prompt and accurate with his information. Called around 8 in the morning. They were out by 2 to fix my fridge. It was a very quick repair! He was done in about 15 mins & the fridge is back up & running. He was a bit abrupt, just business. But not unpleasant, was knowledgable & had us up & running. $375 seemed a bit steep, but when faced with the cost of replacing a $2000 refrigerator, it was well worth it. read more
