The OLED screen was the entire reason I paid a premium price. Instead, TekRefurbs sent a much older, cheaper Dell laptop with a standard LED screen, not OLED, and in fair condition at best. This was a clear bait and switch. TekRefurbs.com advertises high-end laptops and sends low-end substitutes, hoping buyers won't fight it. After contacting them, Tekrefurbs refused to send the advertised laptop and claimed the incorrect LED Dell was the "very best laptop" they had. Hard to believe from a company that claims a 50,000 sq ft warehouse. Then it became dangerous. When I plugged in the charger, the laptop immediately overheated. When unplugging it, the USB-C metal connector fell apart and stayed inside the laptop. I had to remove it with tweezers. I sent photos. No replacement charger. No laptop replacement. No refund. I'm disabled and live on disability income, so I had to wait until December 4th to afford a replacement charger myself. After plugging it in and letting it run updates, I left for about 30 minutes. When I returned, the laptop was completely fried, and my wooden desk had burn marks. This device nearly started a house fire. I took it to Fry's Electronics and was told the laptop was done and trash (I still have it). Final result: wrong laptop, broken charger, fire hazard, one-week late delivery, and no refund or exchange. Anyone searching for TekRefurbs.com reviews or considering Tekrefurbs on Amazon laptops should be warned: do not trust this company. Geoff Patten
