Haven't met anyone like Scott in a while, someone who's in business out of a passion for what he does and his desire to help others. As soon as you meet him you can tell how much he loves computers and loves helping people in general. To say he's knowledgeable is quite an understatement. I wish he could've help me with some of my computer programming classes back in school lol!! For starters he's available 24 hours. Which is great of course. I was able to drop my computer off after work and pick it up after work the next day, very convenient! After dropping it off the first day he called me as planned around 9 o'clock at night to let me know that things were going well. I don't think customer service gets any better than that! Most places would've left the computer on the counter until the next morning. Scott had scans being run all night long so that it will be ready for pick up the next day. I'll also say that he is charging less than any place else I've ever taken a computer to get help, plus I've never gotten it back the next day fixed completely, plus there were no extra charges, hidden fees, etc. Actually he did more than what he said, he launched all my upgrades, he added some free software to help keep my computer virus free, he even installed an app on my computer in case I ever needed his help I could speak with him remotely. These are all free of course. And the computer has been working wonderful since I returned home with it! All problems fixed 100 percent!! How lucky to have a service like this right here in central New Jersey in Freehold. I would drive here to get my computer fixed even if I lived a half hour away. Very, very highly recommended! Spread the word about this incredible computer service, you won't be disappointed!

She ultimately didn't get it fixed by NO fault of his. She just doesn't live in the area and had to leave unexpectedly so she needed to handle it another way. I left this review as he even responded to wish her luck and say thank you for inquiring. Real class act who understands how important customer service is. We wish Scott all the best!

I'm writing this review based on the delivery service we received today…read more We have always loved P.C. Richard & Son for our appliance needs as we've had pleasant interactions with the sales staff. If I was writing this review based on the store I would give 5 stars. But the delivery on our washer today was horrible! 1 star for delivery. We were the first delivery this morning for a 7AM-8AM window which I didn't mind because it gets it out of the way and you're not waiting around all day. They arrived promptly around 7:05 AM. I specifically bought disposable booties for the delivery men to put over their shoes. The snow has not melted for weeks and my laundry room is quite a ways into the house. I asked if they could please wear the booties to track in less dirt, slush, and salt. The delivery men insisted they would be in and out quickly and would not need them. They then proceeded to go in and out of the house over 3 times to put the new washer in and remove the old one. It took about 20 minutes. And now there is a trail of salty snowy mud in my house. I don't understand why they couldn't use the booties as I had purchased them with my own money and had plenty for them to use.

Formal Escalation - Customer Service Failure & Rebate Disclosure Concern…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally escalate a matter involving one of your retail locations that has left my family deeply disappointed. My spouse and I purchased over $30,000 in premium merchandise from your store, including a full suite of LG Studio appliances (refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, six-burner center-island range with oven), an LG ThinQ washer and dryer, and four high-end Samsung and LG televisions -- including a 2026 LG C-Series 55" model with soundbar for our master suite. As part of this purchase, we qualified for a $1,100 LG rebate. At no point during the sales process were we clearly informed that this rebate would expire within one year if not utilized. We only learned of the expiration after attempting to redeem it. When I attempted to address this matter, the store manager, Ryan, failed to return my calls. No proactive support, clarification, or resolution was offered. For a customer making a substantial investment in your brand, the absence of follow-up and engagement is unacceptable. This issue is not solely about the rebate. It is about transparency, accountability, and customer respect. Clear communication of rebate terms is a fundamental part of ethical retail practice. Additionally, leadership responsiveness is critical when concerns are raised. As a longtime consumer -- and someone who understands brand reputation at a national level -- I believe this situation warrants review. I am requesting: 1. A formal review of the rebate disclosure practices at this location 2. A written explanation of why management failed to respond 3. Consideration of a goodwill resolution regarding the expired $1,100 rebate I look forward to a timely response and a constructive resolution. Respectfully, Leonard Marshall Jr.

In 2019, I visited this shop to upgrade my GTX 1060 to a RTX 2070TI... little did I know I would be making the biggest mistake of my life. The shop owner took advantage of the little knowledge I had with gaming PCs and overcharged me an arm and a leg for a graphics card, additional hard drive I hadn't requested, installing an SD card I had already purchased, upgrading my motherboard and CPU. He slapped on a few stickers to the case and called it a day charging me nearly 3k for few improvements. After breaking down the receipt I noticed he charged me over 1k for LABOR. I never confronted them because, again, I hadn't had the experience or knowledge building computers. 5 years later, it's a whole different story. DO NOT trust this shop, DO NOT trust the owner(Charles) regardless of whether and when they're reopening the shop. They are NOT trustworthy people that will rip anyone off first chance they get.

My parent's broke the antenna on their DSL modem/router/wireless access point thing while moving…read moreit. I forgot to pack my 50ft ethernet cable for the trip home so wanted to get a replacement antenna locally since by the time an Internet sourced one arrived, I'd be back in CA. So off I went in search of antenna . . . Best Buy: "Huh? Antenna? Wifi? Dunno. Maybe try xyz?" xyz (Local independant electronics store who's name I can't remember): "We don't carry anything like that. Maybe Radio Shack?" Radio Shack: "We could special order something for you. It'll take like a week. You might also try Computer Haven 4 doors down." Does no one else break these things? Mail order only?!? My frustration level was rising with each failed stop. Computer Haven front register guy: "Hmm. Don't think we have anything like that. I'll check." He goes in back. Another guy comes out and I show him the old antenna. First he says no, then pauses . . . he takes the antenna and looks at it a little more closely and says "Just a second" and goes in the back. A minute or two later he comes out with another antenna. "This was from a broken router I was about to throw away. It's a little larger, but has the same connector so *should* work." Me: "How much?" Him: "$5?" (Half price of anything I could find online and no shipping!) Me: "Deal!" As you can see, I'm now connected to the internet from my laptop! Score! Thanks Computer Haven guy!
