That being said, it's small and I can get what I need often quicker than Home Depot (if I know where to get what I'm looking for) and you can always call ahead of time to check and see if they have what you need. My secret buy at Rona - Wood Stove Pellets for kitty kat litter boxes. Yep, it is literally the EXACT SAME product that you can pay $20-$25 a bag for at Petsmart (40 pound bag) and here you will pay about $6 a bag. And they carry it year round - in the winter it's out front but in the summer you have to go to the customer service desk and pay for it there and they give you a slip that you drive around back with to the lumber yard and they'll load it in your vehicle.

I wanted to know whether an exchange or a paid upgrade would be possible. The staff member responded by saying, "Unfortunately, the person who handles customer service is not here today." That was the only explanation I was given. I work in the trades and regularly purchase tools from KMS Tools. This was actually the first time I have ever asked about a defective product, so this response was quite surprising. There are two reasons this experience was disappointing. First, the customer service system itself. It appears that whether a customer can receive service depends entirely on whether a specific person happens to be working that day. If that person is not present, customer service simply is not available. Since I have only ever made purchases here before, I was not aware of this type of system, but after experiencing it, I felt it was worth sharing. Second, the way the situation was handled at checkout. I was only told that the customer service person was not available "today." No additional information was offered--such as when I could return, what time would be appropriate, or which day I could speak with the right person. Being told only that it could not be done, without any guidance, was disappointing from a customer service standpoint. Overall, I am sharing this experience to highlight that customer service at KMS Tools unfortunately appears to depend on luck--if the right person is available, you receive support; if not, customer service is simply unavailable.

One of the reasons I chose to come out was to hit Evoolution, but I can do that closer to home. There's a spa onsite, an overpriced kitchen store, an overpriced health and wellness shop, and a specialty grocery store akin to Loblaws City Centre market or any Planet Organic. I'm not sure why anyone would come to the Enjoy Centre for such services, and indeed anytime I've visited, these stores are all but empty. The cafeteria is also overpriced and very average. Honestly I'd only come back here for the special events and would maybe do some gift shopping. But I'll never make the drive from Edmonton again just to peruse expensive items I can purchase elsewhere, or to buy plants, if there were any to buy!!
