Predatory company that is interested only in extracting as much money from tenants as they can and…read morekeeping your security deposit. They charge admin fees to renew, apply for, and terminate a lease. These are basic jobs of a landlord and rental company, and should not be extra fees passed to the renter - that is the literal service that they provide paid for by rent. When moving out, I attempted to schedule a final walkthrough by emailing and calling 8 separate times over 3 days and was met with either no response or the person I reached saying that someone else would need to get back to me, and they never did. What are all these admin fees even being used for if not administering the properties? They are now trying to keep money for "cleaning" from my security deposit even after I had the apartment professionally deep cleaned. I disputed these charges and they have been unresponsive for weeks, other than stating "ACC hired the cleaning and maintenance vendors to conduct work based on the needs identified during our move-out inspection" but they have provided no further details. Clearly they are interested only in maximizing profits at the expense of anyone they can suck money out of. Also be aware that they will tack on extra fees like a "resident benefit package" and water on top of the rent, so the rent you see is less than your total monthly amount paid will actually be.
