Nestor you were called and notified in less than 90 days of us occupying property of all the issues. Your report is lacking. I have cameras inside my home that recorded the conversation of how nasty, unprofessional, disrespectful you were along with you saying my home was too big. There is absolutely nothing professional with the way you run your business. Further proof you were notified. My house closed on 7/24. I reached out to you on October 14th. Less than 90 days. You can add all the disclosures/disclaimers you want; Your work was atrocious and in conjunction with the realtor and sellers to decieve. Also, you did not include in your report all the structural damage in the balconies including the missing pieces. Potential clients- beware and due your due diligence. I hired Nestor Gomez to inspect what was to be my new home in July 2024 after being recommended by the sellers realtor to use him. At first, he appeared professional and explained things throughout the inspection. However, I later discovered he was working in conjunction with my realtor and the sellers to mislead me about the true condition of the property. He failed to disclose significant water damage in the master bedroom bathroom let alone that water mitigation services had been done, he assured us the roof was in excellent condition with a remaining lifespan of 15 years. In reality, a major section of the roof was completely rotted--something that takes years to develop and should have been easily identified. The night of the walkthrough 80% of the home's light switches weren't functioning, in less than 30 days of moving in we discovered a mold infestation throughout the entire second floor. A second inspector later confirmed that mold had been painted over and had been present for more than a year and must have been caused by the water damage based on the holes opened in all the vanities in the master bedroom bathroom(not reported on Nestor inspection). Other issues overlooked or falsely reported as "fine" included a wine cooler taped in place, a broken ice maker, and severely damaged AC ductwork in the attic. None of these were reported in his inspection. When I called Nestor to address these concerns and request his liability insurance for a claim, he was rude, dismissive, and claimed it was "impossible" to conduct a thorough inspection due to the size of the home. He also told me I couldn't take legal action because his report included multiple disclaimers meant to protect him from liability--implying he was well aware of what he was doing. Adding to the suspicion, the sellers' attorney requested we sign a release form after closing to prevent future lawsuits for damages or issues with the property, further indicating that all parties were aware of the home's severe issues. After spending over $40,000 on repairs, I urge you to do your due diligence and avoid working with Nestor Gomez. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I experienced. read more

We just used this company to do an inspection on a house we are buying as it was recommended by our real estate agent. The service was wonderful!! When we arrived at the house at the time of the inspection the inspector, Nestor, was already there, very punctual! He was very friendly, helpful and diligent. He told us to ask anything !! As we went ok doing our "own little inspection" he explained little details like how to turn the heater on/off (something I would've never known.... (plus, it was hidden inna closet..) He was very honest and professional as well, took a decent amount if time making sure everything was dully checked! Final report was provided to us 2 days after the inspection. When I was visiting Miami, my cousin had to get her house inspected as she was looking into selling the house, a real state agent recommended Nestor to inspect her house: he was very punctual, accurate and reliable, not to mention he showed up in a cute car as if he was inspector Gadget (the 80s cartoon). Nestor discovered my cousin's house had something called Chinese drywall, I had never heard of this before and it seems to be toxic for people who live in houses that have such element. Nestor explained all this to my cousin and we are glad she found out about that! We are so very thankful to Nestor... It is really scary and crazy that a lot of construction companies in Miami were using toxic material when the real state was happening in South Florida. It has taken me a while to write this review because life gets in the way, but I couldn't go without writing this review. I used Home Inspections Halley, Inc twice. I was on the market for a new home and had a couple contracts fall through so I used Halley, Inc. a couple times for inspections on the homes I placed a contract on. Mr. Nestor always showed up on time in his green car and conducted an in depth home inspection. I had the Wind Mitigation Inspection and 4-Point Inspection done on the homes. Moving from L.A to Miami was a big change, considering how diverse the cities are in between. I settled to move into a small townhouse in Doral with my Fiancee. I cannot overemphasize how good Halley Home Inspections are! I was selling my Coral Gables house which was built in the 1940's and had been passed on from my grandmother to my mother to me. I hired the first inspectors that popped on google and spent $300 on their "inspection". I came to find out two months later once the house had been remodelled that these "inspectors" didn't check the crawl space which showed signs of black mold. After confronting them, they refused to acknowledge their error and demanded ANOTHER $300 for a re-inspection. Frustrating! That's when a realtor friend suggested Halley Home Inspections.
