We also wanted someone trustworthy and independent, and Lucy is all that. My mother was just sitting all day, before Lucy came to help. Lucy made a strong connection immediately, figured out a fun,creative way for my mother to remember her name based on my mom's interests. Lucy has taken a load off of myself and my family with the help she provides. She has organized my mom's space making getting her clothes easier for her, has been able to help her to take showers and wash hair (this was a constant battle and stressor before Lucy), takes her out to walk and keep her stamina up, and overall provides companionship, along with handling the needed activity. Lucy is a competent and experienced caregiver who knows what to do without any direction. Lucy has given us peace and some of our time back.
