They have a large dining space inside but only a few people. They gave us complimentary wonton chips with sweet and sour sauce as we looked at the menu. We decided to get the lan zhou spicy dry noodle with beef, Szechuan dry chili chicken, beef pancake roll, and Chinese pumpkin cake. The beef pancake roll is one of my favorite appetizers from Szechuan places. Their version had a crispy roll and a crunch inside too since it had a lot of veggies. The sauce is a little too sweet for me. Their version kinda tastes like a banh mi to be honest. The Chinese pumpkin cake is a fried pumpkin with a crispy shell and comes with chili sauce. This was honestly pretty good. We got the lan zhou noodles next. The beef was tender and I liked how they put in a lot of onions. For a dry noodle there was a lot of sauce at the bottom, and it wasn't spicy at all. Overall it was still pretty good. The dry chili chicken was pretty solid as well. Not spicy at all either but it had good flavor

The noodles are why you are here. They are wonderful and have a good chew. The sauces are a bit bland but are a fair representation of authentic cuisine. I only experienced one dish and it was filling. The eggrolls are fab.

Second visit here. They make the noodles fresh every time. They have cute decor. Service is fast but have only have gone during the week mid afternoon. My mom is a very picky eater and she enjoys the food here.

Authentic Chinese food! Was called Noodle Kitchen, I think they still had the old sign up the last time we went. Friendly service at a more than reasonable price.

Quality homemade noodles and dumplings. The dishes are clean, authentic and reminds me of China town in Washington DC.

Food was flavorful and rich. We had a large order for 10+ people yet the food was prepared and ready fairly quickly. Service was good.

I genuinely wanted to give this place five stars, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing overall. When we first arrived, there was nobody at the front to greet or seat us, and we waited several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Service started off decent enough, but once our food arrived, it felt like we were completely forgotten. Nobody checked on our table afterward, we never received water refills, and our server was essentially unavailable for the rest of the meal. We were also seated next to an extremely loud party that was yelling throughout dinner. We wanted to request another table because it was disrupting the experience, but our server never returned to our section, so we never had the opportunity to ask. For a restaurant that presents itself as high caliber, I was surprised that management allowed such a disruptive atmosphere to continue. As for the food, the BBQ Pork Buns and Siu Mai were both very good. The award-winning Beef Rendang was easily the highlight of the meal and the best dish we ordered. Unfortunately, the Mee Goreng and Malaysian Fried Rice were major disappointments. Both dishes had an unpleasant smell and lacked flavor or seasoning, making them very unappetizing. Another issue was finding a bug on our table during dinner. I understand things can happen, but combined with everything else, it added to an already frustrating experience. We even wanted additional napkins, but again, our server never came back to check on us. Eventually, we became so frustrated waiting for service that we got up and paid the bill ourselves. Ironically, that was the moment our server finally reappeared. To make matters worse, gratuity appeared to already be added to the bill, which honestly did not feel deserved given the level of service we received. Overall, the BBQ Pork Buns and Beef Rendang were the only parts of the experience that saved the meal for us. It's disappointing because the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and has a great ambiance, which made us even more excited to try it. Unfortunately, the poor service and inconsistent food quality overshadowed what could have been a much better dining experience.

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.

My husband and I went in for lunch. We weren't greeted. The hostess/server grabbed two menus and gestured for us to sit. We had to ask if we could sit anywhere we'd like, greeted her and all. She had a scowl on her face the entire time as if she didn't want to be at work. Normally we would walk out of a place like this but we were so hungry and it was our 3rd attempt at eating. We ordered the lunch portion of the General Tso chicken with spring rolls. The General Tso was hot and fresh but could have passed on the spring roll. Don't recommend outside of takeout and won't return.
