    N4 Chicken Pad See Ewe

Coming from the food Mecca of the world (NYC) I am always so hesitant to try new restaurants but I was craving some Thai food. Today I walked in, was greeted immediately and my order was taken within 5 minutes. This restaurant is clean, was at comfortable temperature, the music wasn't loud and absolutely appreciated that. I ordered a chicken Pad See Ewe (mild), the food came out not long after I ordered (was only one other table of customers besides mine) so the food was at a perfect temperature aaand let me say, it was delicious. I really cannot complain. I'm so happy to have found a Thai restaurant out here.. I will definitely be coming back and I look forward to trying new dishes. LASTLY, for dessert I tried the mango sticky rice. I had no idea what to expect! Never had it but I will say it is interesting and good! The rice was warm, the coconut milk (I think) was a nice and the mango was really good. This is a mildly sweet dessert... a nice end to a meal. Wondering if I'd crave it in the future but I'm really not mad at this. I'm happy I tried it. I'd recommend this place for sure! Check it out!!

    N4 Pad See Ewe

I ordered the N4 Pad See Ew with chicken and fried tofu, and unfortunately it had a very unpleasant taste. It tasted almost like burnt fish sauce or burnt soy sauce, without any sweetness or savory flavor. Overall, it was extremely bland and basically flavorless. The Mango Sticky Rice was better. The sticky rice had a nice pandan aroma and tasted good, but the mango itself was sour instead of sweet. I called the restaurant to politely explain my experience and hoped they would help resolve the issue. Instead, the owner told me to order from another Thai restaurant and said to never order from her business again. I was disappointed because I was simply trying to address the quality of my meal and find a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, nothing was done to resolve the issue, and I did not receive a refund or any attempt to make things right. THE OWNER

The fried rice was really good! You can tell the chef has great wok skills. Not wet or mushy at all. I paired it with the coconut shrimp, and it was the perfect combo! The shrimp was crispy on the outside and juicy &tender on the inside. So satisfying, I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely order it again!

March 14, 2025 Update: Sadly downgrading previous review by a Star as the quantities delivered were less for the price charged. Plus while the flavor was there, veggies were overcooked. Ordered Summer Rolls, Pad Prik Khing, Veggie Green Curry, and Chicken Pad Thai. Set me back $73 including service fee, taxes, and tips. Rather a lot for 3.5 dishes and smaller quantities.

I've been to tic tac Thai a few times now for lunch & have always had a good experience. Their lunch special is a great deal & the food is really delicious. I've gotten both the green curry and the pad see ewe. Both were delicious. I love the Thai spicy spice level, it's the perfect amount of spice. They also serve you a spring roll as an appetizer which is very nice :) Ambiance is pretty nice here. It's usually very clean & you get your pick of tables. Service is very good - you get sat quickly and food comes out very fast. Tic tac Thai is our office go-to Thai place. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! Super creamy curries.., the best Tom Kha and summer rolls are fresh and delicious! Marlina was our server to day and they seemed short handed. She was a trooper and handled many tables with accuracy and grace! Bravo to her for holding the dining room together with 7/8 tables! Great food and service, best Thai on the north side! Check them out

This is going to be an our new go to Thai restaurant. We got summer rolls which were good. We got the large shrimp Tom kha, and it was delicious, I then had the yellow curry with tofu, and my husband had red curry with chicken. We ordered from the lunch menu, and they were big portions. My husband loves spicy food. They have a scale from one to nine. I got mine at a six, but my husband went for nine. It was the first time my husband admitted it was too hot for him, so if you like spicy this place is going to be great for you. Th service was friendly. The place is nice and modern, it's in a strip mall. Next time, my husband and I will probably go down in spice level.

We ordered mild spice levels but this was a bit too spicy food for us. The soup especially was very spicy. There were hardly any chicken pieces in both the Tom Kha soup and Massaman curry. The curry was tasty . This soup not so much. The serving size was smaller for the price. The wings were decent but had no Thai spice , no basil. Didn't prefer the five spice powder in the fried rice.

Smallest summer rolls ever, and so ridiculously expensive. The summer rolls were not made very well, because they started falling apart when you bite into them. The basil fried rice was okay. The flat noodles are the first drunken noodles I've had since being in spring that was the right noodles! It was delicious. We might go back again for the drunken noodles. No summer rolls next time, until they make it worth it.

Stopped by here on my way out of Houston and it was a good Thai place. It was pretty quiet but it was a Monday night. I had the pad kee mao and it was good and spicy! If you are a fan of Thai food this place is a good place to check out.

We had placed an Uber Eats order a little while back and unfortunately one of our entrées was missing when the delivery arrived. Mistakes happen, but what sets a great restaurant apart is how they handle it. Daniel went completely above and beyond to make things right. He arranged for a free entrée to be added to our next Uber Eats order, which we placed just yesterday. And when that order arrived, not only was the free entrée included, but they also threw in delicious Thai tea as an extra gesture of goodwill. It was such a thoughtful, generous touch that we genuinely weren't expecting. That kind of customer care is rare these days, and it speaks volumes about the culture Daniel and the team have built at Charm Thai Bistro. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic, but knowing that the people behind it truly stand behind their service makes every order that much better. We will absolutely keep coming back, and we'd recommend Charm Thai Bistro to anyone looking for amazing Thai food AND a restaurant that truly values its customers. Daniel, you're the man, thank you!

I have purchased multiple giftcards from Toast Tab and have had no issue using them with other servers, but every single time i have to encounter Megan, she claims there's some new gift card policy. Last time, she claimed they don't accept gift cards period. I had used gift cards multiple times at this establishment before and I knew that was incorrect. She sat there and argued with me for 20 minutes before she called her owner to confirm that they do accept gift cards that were purchased on Toast Tab. Today, she claimed that I cannot use more than one gift card during a visit. She gave me the card reader to use and I was able to charge 3 gift cards on the same tab. She then went and said she would have to void the transaction because I was only allowed to use one. I PAID for these giftcards online, I'm not understand why I'm unable to use them. She then argued with me AGAIN, until she called her owner to confirm that you can do multiple gift cards on one transaction. After I reminded her that she argued with me last time, she proceeded to say don't come on the days that I work then, which is Tuesdays and Thursdays (today is Monday by the way). She also said I am welcome to go to the 1960 location if I don't like her service. She is EXTREMELY unprofessional and if she continues to keep it up, she will cause this establishment to lose more and more customers.

The food portions were generous, but the food was completely bland and dry. The items we ordered: 1. Shrimp fried rice. The shrimp was a nice size and not overcooked. The rice itself was dry and tasteless. 2. Crying Tiger (Beef with sticky rice). It clocked in at "not bad". While dry, it at least had flavor. 3. Pad Thai with chicken . Bland and underwhelming. 4. Pok Pok Chicken appetizer. The dryest bland fried chicken we've ever had. We decided that it was best to throw it away rather than feed it to our dogs. It tasted like the chicken had been under a heat lamp for hours. 5. Crispy Chicken Rolls Appetizer. The only enjoyable part of the meal. We were excited to try a new place but were disappointed. All of the food wasn't awful but it wasn't exactly good either. The experience could have been worse as it could have been overpriced. The serving sizes were generous for the amount they charged. Unfortunately a lot of mediocre to bad food is still not why we order food from restaurants. Hopefully this is just an aberration because of the time of day we ordered the food or perhaps their take out is not as good as their dining in experience. We might be open to going back to give it another shot but would definitely order different items. It's not likely, but it could happen. 3 stars because of the portion sizes and friendly staff. The food on its own is 2 stars.
