Recently the people working there have not followed thru with their promises. I received an email in March that it was time to order my supplies. I called and spoke with Glenn. I gave him my order and he told me that it would be processed the following day. Two weeks later I still did not have anything. I called 6 different times only to be told that it was being processed. Never did I get a phone call telling me there was a problem. It wasn't until I got irate and I spoke with their manager and even she was difficult to get a hold of, that. I finally got a result. She shipped me the bare minimum at their cost. That was supposed to take of the problem. She stated that the doctor had not approved it and they had to have approval for Medicare. My question was when was I going to be told that so I could contact the doctor. At no time on any of my calls was I told that they needed Dr. approval. After seeing my doctor and talking with my doctor, she didn't have any knowledge of their needing something. It had not been a year since my previous visit so it should have been processed without any problem. Long story short, I have chosen to go with a different company because I'm very disappointed with home oxygen. I feel I was lied to by the employees. This company has terrible service! It is been 2 months now that I've been out of my CPAP machine supplies. They first stated I only needed a letter from my doctor stating I still have a CPAP machine. Then after a month of going back and forth. They State I need a form to be filled out by the doctor. I have had nothing but trouble with this company since my doctor referred me for a CPAP machine. Firstly, it took more than two months to get the machine to me. Secondly, when it arrived, it was missing parts. I tried calling, but they refused to help. I ended up buying the water reservoir and filters from Amazon. Thirdly, they charged my insurance every month for supplies that they never delivered. I ended up having to buy my own supplies online. When I called, they would place me on hold just to hang up on me. I ended up having to call my insurance company and file a grievance before Home Oxygen would even call me back. In person, the company was ok, Teresa and Julia were very helpful and sweet. But try and get them on the phone? Several calls have proved the same. Who ever answers the phone knows absolutely nothing, talks so softly with such a heavy accent you ask her to repeat and she gets insulted. Puts you on hold for five or more minutes EACH CALL. Golly gee guys, then two days waiting for a call back? I need sales and after the standard 7 minute hold I get placed to a mailbox for billing????? They have been telling me for years that someone should be calling me every 3-6 months to order supplies and after two years this has never happened. Terrible customer service. I was referred to them by my sleep doctor. I was called over a month ago. About 5-6 calls later, I still have no supplies for my cpap machine. I used to get my supplies from Seattle. 2-3 days tops to get them to me. What is wrong with your staff? These supplies are essential to your customers well being. I can not believe the lack of customer service this company has. I have been TRYING to get my mom started on oxygen since her doctor prescribed it for her on 3/24/17. My mother is very ill and overwhelmed at this time and I am the person who is handling her care. I spoke to a Julia one time. She told me since my mom is a traveler we should go with a nation wide company. I called Mom's doctor and she expressed that mom needs to start oxygen and that traveling may not happen again. Doctor said to go with local company. I called Friday and left message with Julia explaining that we will use local company and please return my call. I waited till Monday at 1:00 for her to return call. I called and once again I was put thru to her voice mail. I asked her to please return call. I leave her my PHONE # and name. She calls my mom, who doesn't answer the phone. So I call her back immediately. Yes once again I was put thru to her voice mail. I called 5 times yesterday. I left Julia voice mail everytime. The last time I called at 4:30 I asked the receptionist if there was someone other than Julia that I could speak to? Was told since mom is a new client that is Julia's department. It is now Tuesday. No return calls from Julia. I have now called another oxygen company. My review is like others here. DO NOT use this company if you want any kind of customer service. I can only imagine what kind of hassle we would of experienced in trying to get any supplies from them. If I could give them no stars, I would. Inogen portable oxygen has not held a charge, half the time it does not produce oxygen even when mom breaths out of her nose the machine randomly stops working. Mom was being released from the hospital and it stopped working, 3 RNS could not get it to work. I called Oxygen one gave the phone to nurse and as tech was speaking to nurse the machine randomly started working again, I asked Oxygen one Tech if he could bring out replacement oxygen for mom and he said no they are closed for weekend and machine is working now. I asked tech what do I do if machine stops working on our way to rehab call 911?, she could die, he responded she is not gonna die. Mom didnt even make it out of the hospital door and was re-admitted because she needed oxygen. 4 hours later hospital arranges ambulance transport for mom to rehab wi because Oxygen One Tech said they were closed and could not do anything. I get a message from Home Oxygen on my phone at home telling me that I have to speak with someone at the company about supplies, so I call them. i get a recording telling me that I am number 3 in the queue so please hold. The music in the background is all static and hiss, it's terrible, but I hang on. Soon, I get a message saying that I am number 2, then later I am number 1 in the queue. The same terrible noise is continuing to play. Then there is a noise and a recorded voice comes on telling me I'm number 3 in the queue. What a scam. I cycle through the messages again and I end up back at number 3 in the queue. No person is even answering, I am just being cycled over and over with static playing in the background. If I could give this place a zero, I'd be giving them more credit than they deserve. Absolutely the WORST customer service I've dealt with in my 69 yrs, and worst of all it's in the healthcare business. Getting wrong parts for my bipap machine was inconvenient, but their total failure to respond to a machine failure emergency is unforgivable. Three calls re: the need for an urgent replacement and is there any effort on their part??? ZERO!!! I'm not generally a guy to complain on line about things. People can and do make mistakes. But when those errors of effort involve medical equipment to prevent cardiac problems and the people show no sense of concern and demonstrate absolutely no effort, I knew I needed to let the people that read this know, particularly if their healthcare need is urgent for their immediate wellbeing. My home oxygen concentrator, broke down. I called Home Oxygen and even though it was 2:00 P.M., and I lived approx. one and one half hours away, they responded with a newer model for me. The Technician Vincent responded in a timely manner. He explained everything to me. He was very helpful. I have this company 5 stars for a good reason. I had so much trouble obtaining a portable oxygen concentrator ( unacceptable delays, lies, imcompetence), that my MD's authorization staffperson, found this smaller local California-based company and sent some of my medical imformation to ge the process started. I got a call from a kind rep after 2pm as promised then after an inquiry into authorization (not covered, expected that, prepared to pay out of pocket) it went pretty quickly. Payment and following service were very prompt. I got a rental unit till the chosen unit I ordered got here. They were gracious and kind to deliver as we live far and are both disabled. Every step in the ordering and delivery process was followed by a phone call or email, every call for questions informed me and issues addressed quickly. The kind technician delivered the oxygen concentrator I bought and gave me a full orientation to it. This company did not miss a beat for something that my life depends on when I am out and about it. I am encouraging my medical group to add this company for patients to have access too. My husband is at home in hospice care. This company delivered all his medical equipment needs. By week three, the bed had broken. I called on a Monday and talked with a receptionist and spent 5 minutes trying to explain to her what was wrong with the bed. I still didn't think she understood. She advised that she would send an email to the tech and I would receive a call back. By the following Wednesday I still had not received a call so I called back and talked to the same receptionist. Once again being told I would receive a call back from the tech. By Friday I still had not received a call. I again call the company and got a recorded message and left a message explaining my situation and demanded to speak to a manager. I received a call back and was told that I would receive a call back from the tech. I told this person that I had heard that story before. She told me that she would call me back in 5 minutes to make sure that I did receive a call. Well I did receive a call back from tech Brian. He was not to thrilled with having to come out so he decided to talk me through fixing the bed. Luckily I am a bit mechanically inclined and was able to do it. The only factual statement in your post is that "you did not perform as expected". Your recollection of your companies responses are entirely different than mine. You stated that you were at our door the next day...that is just not true. Your account of processing an order timely also is not true...I work in purchasing and it simply does not take two months to order and receive four bolts. I seriously doubt that if the order was processed timely, that receipt of them would have been more than four days much less than over two months. No more excuses. read more

This company has bad customer service! My 76 year old mother has been trying to get adjusted to her CPAP. She went in for the initial consultation which seemed to be at first good. They gave her the machine and a nose mask. She decided that the nose mask wasn't working and called the rep. It took a couple of times of leaving a message to get a return call. Once again we drove 45 minutes to pick up her new equipment. She was told that she would need to mail the used equipment back which makes me suspicious that they reuse it with other customers. My mom ended paying over $8 to mail the other equipment back. The new mask they gave her didn't work either so she decided to go back to the one she had initially tried. Once again it took more than two phone calls. The rep told her he would leave the equipment she sent back at the front. She decided to just pay to have them mail it to her but once again could not get the rep to call her back. I finally drove her into the facility only to have her pick up equipment that we are not even sure was originally hers. It's missing stuff and is in a different bag than the one she sent back. It also had a piece of hair on it that wasn't my moms hair. When I talked to the supervisor I was told that their policy was 48 hours for return calls and gave an excuse that they have a lot of customers. She did have someone call who stated they would mail the rest of the equipment out tomorrow. Like I said though we are not even sure at this point she was given back her original equipment. I will be finding a new company that can return my mothers phone calls in a reasonable amount of time, and has enough people working for them that can provide the customer support that should be given to all their customers. To think that my mom might have someone else's used equipment disgusts me. read more

I recently posted a somewhat negative review of the Modesto office after much difficulty reaching anyone at the store. A day later I get a personal email from Andrea the store owner saying someone would be calling me the next day. Sure enough, I got the call. Can't recall the person I spoke with but she was gracious, apologetic for their phone systems not working correctly and set up an appointment for the same day. Arrived 15 minutes early, gave my name to the greeter and with in seconds, Andrea herself came out to introduce herself and invited me in for a chat in her office. She again apologized for the phone problem, explaining they have just started a new system and not all the bugs were cleaned out yet. I in turn explained getting a CPAP face device that worked for me, has been an on going nightmare and I took out some frustration on her company. She stated they are a small player in a big pond and want to do their very best by their customers. With that I was met by Sina Yen, their rep. Incredibly nice guy who hooked me up to a new nasal device - finally - something I can work with. As they didn't have any stock at the time, he tried another nasal device on me, then lent it to me to use until my order arrives at my house within a week. Sina answered every question I had clearly and succinctly. I left there feeling much happier than last weekend. If you're wondering why I only gave them 4 stars - it is based on what happened today. I'll revisit this issue in a few weeks and repost the next chapter. Regardless, Thank you to Sina and Andrea for taking the time to make sure I was a happy camper. read more
