You have to understand that my mom was EXIGENT about not getting a pair of glasses after her cataract surgery a few years back. She was so adamant, we had to pay extra for the fancy lenses to be put in her eyes at the time of the surgery. IMAGINE MY SURPRISE when my parents called me after their appointment GUSHING about Dr. Garrett and how my mom had also gotten a pair of glasses ordered! Understand that I have been BEGGING her to get glasses for years after her surgery and, somehow, this young man was able to manage what I had thought to be impossible. They gushed about how thorough he was with them. They gushed about how, even though my parents are ESL, he somehow managed helping them understand the findings/recommendations of the visit w/o an interpreter (which is usually me). AND THEN.....he recommended some eye drops to my mom who shares Central Valley dry eye issues with me. So, I ended up with the same eye drops I have been using for the last few weeks and they have been AMAZING for me. So...my parents glasses arrive and a complimentary blue cleaning cloth also arrives...one side has grippies so that your fingers don't slip against the cloth as you clean your glasses! TRULY....thank you for addressing the smallest things. For those of you out there who knows how difficult it can be to manage a set of aging parents, this has been a true blessing.

Often times I call and no one answers. When I had to reschedule a eye appointment, I called, and left a voicemail and didn't get a callback, and I know they have a no-show fee, so I called again and again, and nobody answered so I left a email and finally they answered the call and said they're going to charge me a no-show fee. In that case I told them I left a voicemail and I even provided proof that I had sent an email regarding my appointment that I can't make. they then told me that they will on their behalf, not charge me a no-show fee, like they are doing me a favor, do not recommend them at all anymore.

This review is based upon one of the workers named Amy. She took my father back and she was exceptionally rude. We were at the part where he puts his forehead against the machine and he sees a black square, and you press a button when you see it flicker. So my father Doesn't speak much English. Although he understands, he gets confused sometimes and I was trying my best to translate as much as possible. And you can clearly tell that Amy was getting very frustrated and irritated. Her eyes were widening and she was doing all these hand motions. At one time my dad had to repeat the test and she took a huge sigh and said we have to repeat the test because he isn't doing it properly. I mean listen... if you are going to get that irritated and don't have the slightest amount of patience or compassion. You are in the wrong field. I honestly couldn't believe that she was being so rude like that In front of me. Knowing I'm his daughter. I'm sorry I had to give this place such a bad review because Dr. Jasmeet Mann is a wonderful doctor. She truly is. I highly recommended her and the other staff itself seemed polite as well. I purchased two pairs of glasses that ended up being incorrectly made--wrong working distances, wrong bifocal placement, and unusable from day one. I later saw an independent optometrist who confirmed the prescriptions and measurements from this office were not accurate. Despite clear documentation and multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I was only given a partial refund. There was no real follow-up, no accountability, and no meaningful effort to fix the remaining problems. Instead, I continued receiving automated "your glasses are ready" texts long after the issues were known. For the cost involved, basic accuracy and professionalism should not be optional. I recommend verifying all prescriptions and measurements carefully and being prepared to seek a second opinion.

My first visit left more questions because nothing could be detected, the office was searching for a specialist to refer me to when my symptoms became worse. On a Monday I was seen again and Dr. Andre was finally able to see that I suffered a retinal detachment. The staff worked hard to get me an emergency appointment for the retinal care center. My condition in less than week worsened to the point I had 20% vision left in my eye. The next day I was in surgery.
