However, we contracted Covid while in Florida and were unable to fly home as scheduled since we were both fully symptomatic. I called Pam. She was empathetic and said, "no worries. Your pup can stay as long as you need." She kept us updated on our dog with texts and photos. She even took her to our groomer to have her nails trimmed. (I hadn't been able to do that before we left). Finally, after two weeks, we were able to fly home and retrieve our dog. Pam is so thoughtful and caring for us and our dog. She is our exclusive boarding home for our dog. We will use her every time we need to travel. Thank you, Pam. You are fantastic!!!

I can't imagine how we would have managed juggling our cat and our travel schedule all these years without her. Our guy, Tank, has spent many nights happily ensconced at The Cat's Pajamas where he enjoys spying on the comings and goings from the privacy of his own condo. Yes, we could leave him at home with a cat sitter popping by once or twice daily, but our dude is very social and gets lonely easily. Plus, he is a bit high-maintenance and Patty doesn't bat an eye at his extreme neediness. (LOL) Bottom line: Patty is a total pro. She is caring, considerate, and communicative. She keeps a close eye on her charges and intuits exactly what they need. I just can't say enough good things about her. We have had terrible experiences at two other local kennels, but that was not the case here. Our dog who is a large Belgian Malinois has stayed here on two separate occasions and I can say without a doubt that I would not board him anywhere else. Owners are upfront and were sure to tell me about a very small rub on his nose when I picked him up. In the past when staying at other kennels he had displayed nervous behaviors such as not eating and chewing on himself to the point where he is raw. Neither of these issues occurred when he has stayed at the Country Groomer in Carver leading me to believe that it is a much less stressful environment. Both the owner and her husband are friendly and professional. The prices per day are reasonable in comparison to other kennels as well. I highly recommend them if you are looking for to board your dog while you are away.
