His background as a former personal trainer gives him a well-rounded perspective that sets him apart from most therapists I've seen. He explains things clearly, tailors every session to my specific needs, and always makes me feel confident about my progress. Beyond his clinical expertise, Tim is genuinely kind, personable, and has a great sense of humor. He's friendly with every client and creates a welcoming, positive atmosphere in the clinic. I'm also extremely impressed with Joel Mallari, who is equally skilled and attentive. After trying several other OT clinics over the years, I can confidently say that Tim and Joel are in a league of their own. Not only did I not get the actual treatment with the crazy tools they use for ruptured tendons and such...but I got to listen to dick jokes. That's right folks. He was telling a patient about how they have the assistants cut sponges into 6" lengths to put between the patients fingers. And one came back with 2" lengths...and then he chuckled..."well...I guess she's been lied to her whole life". Ha hah ha.... I got up and left after waiting 20 minutes for the actual therapy. The massage beds are only separated by curtains, so you can hear EVERYTHING..from other clients talking during their massages to the toilet flushing and even the microwave beeping. It doesn't provide the quiet, relaxing atmosphere you'd expect. Unfortunately, this interaction left a sour taste. No customer should feel pressured into tipping a specific amount. Arrived 10 minutes prior to appointment and was one of only 3 others in waiting room with appointments; all the others were walk-ins. Appointment obviously meant nothing. I was finally called into a room 40 minutes after my appointment. Waited another 10 minutes for a technician to draw my blood. Flobotomist could not find a vein after several painful attempts. He had to call on another person to draw blood from my other arm. She came in 10 minutes later, laughing like Dr. Hibbert from the Simpsons. I let her know that I was not happy about their service. She laughed even more saying that's too bad, they are awfully busy. I told her about several walk-ins being treated before my appointment time, but she didn't seem to care. I ended up having to cancel my physical therapy appointment because of the delays here. Why bother going through the trouble of making appointments if can walk in and get served first?
