Staff has always been friendly and kind, keeping in mind speaking Korean is helpful if you are looking for something specific. It's NOT necessary, just helpful. They have so many Korean focused products mostly in home goods like kitchen items, tons of bedding, rice cookers and kimchi fridges, but also things like makeup, skincare and clothes. Well priced house slippers with a lot of options! The entire second floor is electronics and more expensive goods, which I hear are not the best to buy here. I usually stick to cheaper items, more kitchen and cooking related needs at Kim's. They have a pretty strict return policy which I hear is a bit risky for more pricey items. I went in specifically for Makgeolli supplies and was so happy to find the pot & cups I needed, at nearly half the price of amazon! Support local stores instead of shopping online! I'm definitely a fan of Kim's Home Center and will come here for all my related needs in the future.

There are a number of reasons why the Culver City location was so much better, but perhaps the main drawback at this LA location is the fact that the former had a real sense of ambiance, and uniqueness, particularly when it came to its cozy little cafe section. Now the "cafe" is pretty much just a space within a space. Another real draw to the Culver City location was the fact that they actually had a separate section where "Guest Chefs" could come in and teach entire classes via cooking classes that sometimes you have to sign up for in advance, and other times you could just kind of walk in on it. That was dope! And while the staff was friendly enough, and again ( don't get me wrong it's still a place that I will be back to to purchase much needed product), it's just an unfortunate reality that sometimes no....you can't duplicate the past.

But as we walked around the store, everything grabbed our attention. The curation of items was full of care. I could have taken almost anything home. The donabe cooking vessel is the central item here. I long to buy one, but since I don't know much about them, I opted for the donabe cookbook (signed!) by the owner first and a stunning mortar and pestle. The service is very Japanese: very kind and grateful. We had no problem finding parking on the street. Prices seemed reasonable for the specific items. I will definitely keep this in mind for beautiful and unique gifts. Looking forward to my next visit and perhaps my first donabe!

When I returned to my car, I noticed that one of the cups had a scratch on it. I walked back inside and told one of the guys, who immediately exchanged the cup for me. No questions asked! The only downside is their parking lot. The lot only has enough space for 4-5 cars and there are pallets around the entire perimeter of the lot. Since there is only one way in and out, you need to reverse out of the lot and into traffic if there is no where for you to park. While doing this, you also need to make sure you don't hit any of their pallets. Luckily, one of the employees helped direct me.

My main visit to Williams-Sonoma was mostly to get a knife set since the ones that I have are dull and not sharp enough. I also needed to get few spices/baking spray, and baking pans. I am a good baker, when I feel like baking cookies, cake, scones, muffins, croissants, etc.. Also needed tools for the kitchen. Whisk, spatulas, measuring cups/spoons etc..just to name a few. They also have great deals on certain items. Well, since I haven't been there in a long time, I saw exactly what I was looking for and purchased them at a very affordable, reasonable price. For everything that I got, I spent $75.00 including tax. Occasionally they have chefs that are good role models and demonstrate healthy cooking for the community. Placed an order both on the phone and website and it was a smooth process. They shipped the same day I ordered. They even offer a discount when signing up for their mailer but keep in mind it comes in Korean. The website itself down be changed to English. Their clothing sizes are all Korean so you'll have to convert to whey the Korean sizes are.

Nothing really to order from there. They need to update. She ordered several items and received on time. But Thursday October 29th she was watching this home network channel. And decided to place an order for " speciality Korean perishable food items" price over $100. Woman she spoke with stated shipping is about $25 and would take 2 days. She didn't mention delays or anything because my mother had asked her before placing order, will she receive in 2 days. Which the woman answered yes! It's now November 3rd and yet to receive her perishable over priced items from california. In all honesty, the two hostesses presenting food items don't to a great job. My elderly mother called today and spoke with the woman who places her order with to request refund of shipping charge since as stated by the employee, the food is being packaged or so she stated.
