So,…read morewhen i got a new puppy this spring, and needed a place for her to stay for a couple days due to a work trip, I brought her here. Now, Fable has been going to daycare since then at least once a week, and I think it's probably the best thing I've done for her. She gets time to burn off all the puppy energy and socializes with dogs of all other sizes. After one or two visits, I realized she knew where we were going in the morning and about a block or so away from Dogtopia, you can hear her get very excited, and I'm pretty sure she's telling me to "drive faster!" She bolts out of the car, into the lobby and just like that it's like I'm not there anymore and she's off saying hi to the staff (who are all incredibly friendly) and heading for the back to go find friends. Fable comes home with a big smile and look of exhaustion after I pick her up. I get a night of quiet, and listening to her snore on the couch, and a pretty calm day after too. We both love coming here, and seeing all the dogs and how much fun they have. She won't be able to attend for a little while, but you can believe as soon as she's healed up from getting fixed, and is ready you'll see her running through that front door.

Within minutes they were all playing in the amazing yard. A little creek, a tunnel, grass area to romp in, wooden deck for chillin'. Dogs were welcome indoors and settled in quickly. Karen really KNOWS dog behavior! It was obvious the dogs trusted her and were comfortable. She kept me up to date on how they were doing, including photos while we were gone. If you're looking for someone with a genuine love of and connection to cats, who is very experienced with cat behavior and health issues, and who is supremely trustworthy and reliable - look no further than Drew. Before I met Drew I spent so much time on Yelp contacting other pet sitters in the area and they all seemed like they were mostly dog-oriented and just tolerated cats and would be only dropping by to make sure my cats were alive. Then I contacted Drew and I knew right away she was special - she actually adores cats and her primary concern is getting to know your cats' individual needs and quirks and providing the best comprehensive care possible while putting your mind at ease with daily checks-ins and photos. (She also owns a photography business and you can hire her for an epic pet photo session!) Drew regularly takes care of my guys, whether I'm busy for one day or away for a longer trip. Under anyone else's care, I'd worry about their individual dietary and behavioral needs - I have a picky older cat with anxiety and urinary issues, a goofy black cat with a sensitive tummy and a history of eating inedible objects and getting the occasional ear infection, and a young, spunky one-eyed cat who once had an injured leg. Not only has Drew gotten to know each of their personalities and connected with them like they're her own pets (they greet her at the door), she has expertly attended to their occasional extra needs and has on multiple occasions taken the time to talk me through my concerns about their issues. In addition to being a cat owner herself, Drew has experience working at clinics and rescues and volunteers her time at a cat sanctuary so I thoroughly trust her input and consider her a valued care companion and part of our pet family. My cats (and I) absolutely adore Drew and there's just no better feeling when you're away than total peace of mind that your fur family is receiving the best possible care. 5 stars, 10/10.
