Eden promptly responded to my initial email and patiently answered all of my questions. It was hard having him so far away (I am based in Palo Alto), but I would drive twice as far to have Eden take care of my dog. Each day Eden would post a photo on Facebook, so I could watch him grow and she was always available to talk on the phone if I wanted an update. Eden transformed my 3 month old puppy into a well-trained, well-socialized, very happy dog. My puppy knows how to come, sit, stay, leave it, drop it, shake, and walk on a leash. He now comes with me to work and is the best-trained dog in my office. Now that my puppy has graduated from board and train, I look forward to using Sierra Dogs as a boarding place. (FYI: It's a convenient location for people who are heading up to Tahoe for the weekend.) I highly recommend Sierra Dogs!

She has created a really cat friendly kitty hotel in a brand new, clean, climate controlled [space]. There are individual houses for the boarders, plus ample space for climbing, watching birds and critters out the windows. If desired, the cats are allowed to interact with each other during Cristine's supervised play time. Our "Two" had never been boarded before, and was unsurprisingly hesitant at first, but as her week wore on I could tell by the regular photos that Cristine sent me that she was really relaxing and enjoying her vacation while we were away. We've already made reservations for her for our Fall trip in a few months. Little Lion House provides the kind of environment that we are happy to trust our kitty's care to. It was a luxury hotel for dogs. The facility offers radiant heat flooring, beautiful large expanded dog runs that are always open for the dogs to roam yet protected from any predators, with a constant fresh air flow, relaxing music, clean water, and much more. Lisa takes the time to get to know the dogs personality in order to match them up before putting them in their own space with other dogs. This was very important for me as I did not want my dog to be without "friends". The years of experience and knowledge Lisa has I found invaluable. She does pet sitting herself, but also set me up with a pet sitter in another town when I'm in that area. I was impressed with her contracted sitter during our meet and greet. When a last minute need for sitting in Placerville arose, I contacted Tamara and she was able to accomodate my request. Upon arrival I noticed that the facility was very well organized, safe and set up for multiple dogs. I noted that she is extremely experienced with dogs and well versed in behavior. She is very personable and walked me around and explained how her boarding works and the different areas for the dogs. Tamara made me very comfortable leaving my pet while I ran errands for the day. The facility is set up very well for overnight boarding too. My dog had a great time at Happy Tails with Tamara's Great Dane and other guests. I would definitely return. I also had the opportunity to leave my dog with Cheryl in Folsom and had a very positive experience. I appreciate the fact that Happy Tails is licensed and insured. Highly recommended.
