Food is mid and prices are outrageous! 7.50 for a small boba tea is asking a lot especially when there's better boba places on base.

Royal Thai provides a great alternative to the normal pizza, burgers or Mexican fare in Big Bear…read more Friendly, fast and delicious. We live here in town and definitely enjoy their pad Thai or their curry.

Stopped by since I was in the area and figured this tucked-away side street toward downtown might…read morebe a little less crowded. Unfortunately, the service was almost as disappointing as the food Right off the bat, the menus were basically tossed onto the table rather than being properly handed out. After ordering, we waited 30+ minutes for the food and had to repeatedly ask about it. Meanwhile, it really seemed like the kitchen was prioritizing delivery orders while the dine-in customers were left waiting. Not exactly the kind of dining experience you want And then there's the food... calling this Thai is a stretch. I know tastes and interpretations can vary, but this felt very far removed from Thai cuisine. The noodles and rice were prepared in ways that didn't resemble traditional Thai cooking, and the seasoning/spice profile was completely off. To me, it tasted more like Indian-inspired food trying to be Thai than actual Thai food We also ordered the calamari, which came with what appeared to be a commercial dipping sauce on the side, rather than a house-made sauce served as part of the dish. That was another letdown I will give credit where it's due: the staff did keep the water filled, the prices were reasonably fair, and the dining room was quiet and relaxed. Those things earned the extra star But overall, unless you have a lot of time to kill and aren't particularly concerned about the food being authentic or well-executed, I really wouldn't recommend making a special trip here. There are plenty of better options if you're actually looking for Thai food

The dishes were definitely spicy, but that's exactly how I like my Thai food, so it was perfect for me. You could really taste the care that went into each dish. Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely be coming back for more!

No much to say about this place, first time ordering from here..and is most likely last…read more. Ordered the Pad Kee Mow, Pad Thai, Orange Chicken, Potstickers and Egg Rolls.....I'll have food for the whole week Spice levels on the Pad Thai/Kee Mow were good, but both dishes were dry and overall just "ok" Not worth the price, IMO of course The Orange Chicken taste wise was good, but the batter was soggy...def. cannot recommend Egg Rolls and Potstickers were good, Potstickers were stuffed with meat....Egg rolls were way over priced for what you get... I know prices have gone up cause of the economy and all, but almost $95 bux for this, I should've just gone to Jack n Box or Del Taco and get a "better" meal for alot cheaper.....yea I know cant really compare Thai to fast food but geesh....gonna have to work an xtra 4hrs to make up for how much this cost and for food that wasn't all that great... There is a slightly better Thai place on Hwy 18 in Apple Valley, but I wanted to try a diff. place this time......I now know better... So, in the end, was the food worth it....no, was it horrible..no. It just wasn't what I was hoping for since I haven't had Thai in a while I can only give this place a 1/4 FAT MAN APPROVAL.....
