The sales person was very informative and professional. He walked me through the choices and costs. Most of the upholstered items can be customized with fabric of you choice. There are two categories of fabric. One with no upcharge from the original price of the item and one that is more. They are hung on the wall in separate wall hangings. I chose a fabric with no upcharge, but when the item was ordered in the computer, the fabric I chose was upcharged!!! When I ask - the salesman said "a customer must have hung the fabric back in the wrong place". I chose another fabric and the item was returned to the original price - but there was NO attempt to go move the fabric I originally chose to the higher priced items. read more

My last sofa from another furniture company had broken legs after only two years, so I decided to get off my relatively new broken sofa and find a new one. I drove to Home Zone over the weekend, found the perfect sofa for a great price and it arrived three days later. Based on awesome Yelp reviews, I stopped in to look for a couple of rocker recliners and a love seat. While I didn't find what I was looking for this trip, I would definitely come back next time I need some furniture. We were greeted by a friendly salesperson that explained that they do not work on commissions (I like that!), how to know what is in stock and delivery timeframes. The sales associates are not pushy because they do not earn commission off the sale, but they are so friendly and helpful when you do need them around! Upon walking in, Deyzya greeted us so kindly, and offered us donuts, bottled Starbucks frap, and water. Such a wonderfully kind gesture! Even her colleagues were friendly! While I walked out with something I did not immediately need for our home, I am so happy with my purchase! We walked around the store and spotted a cute pre-assembled accent chair that was marked down 70% of the initial price. It was an absolute steal so I had to have it! The staff there was very helpful, knowledgeable and didn't bother me while I browsed the store. More recently I went there following an ad in the newspaper for the 2021 Black Friday sale. When my husband and I walked into the store at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2021, we were greeted by a customer service representative and told that whenever we were ready, he was happy to help us. We never felt pressured or intimidated. We had been to a competitive store the week before and I felt ganged up on and while I sat back and observed other sales agents "harassing" other customers to purchase an extended warranty, I left the store unhappy and without a purchase. I don't feel comfortable calling Home Zone employee's salespeople, they did not treat us like a paycheck, this is a non-commissioned store and it shows. The customer service rep made us feel welcome and assisted us with as much help as we needed. Darian Rashaun was our rep and was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. We chose not to purchase the extended warranty and were not "pressured" into doing so. I have not received my furniture yet, it is due on April 5th. I went in to buy a guest bedroom set and left with the set, a kitchen table, and an extra table without the chairs to use as a desk. I will be back. I would give it no stars if I could. Spent over $1500 a brand new sofa. Arm needed fixed as a result of first delivery. I used my furniture protection plan to cover expenses to fix it. They had it for 2 weeks. Delivered it saying it was fixed. NOTHING was done to the sofa. Looked as it sat somewhere untouched and NOT fixed. Extremely dissatisfied with Hone Zone. The store is set up in a really inviting open way and all the sales associates we spoke with were available to assist without being overly persistent.
