This hotel is located right by the freeway off and on ramps which may be convenient for some, but an annoyance for light sleepers. I requested a room on the fourth floor NOT facing the freeway when I booked online AND checked in. So I was surprised and confused when I entered my room that faced the freeway. I didn't sleep well due to all the big rigs accelerating and engine braking. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfy and bed bug free. Gross rooms and even grosser management. Mind you I had done a cross the country road trip and back in 3 weeks staying at all Hilton hotels and this was my last hotel and last night on the road! I booked and checked in 1/1/26 after driving all day. I originally booked and selected a first floor room through the Hilton app and when I received the digital key it was for room 302. I called and Annette told me over the phone the owners would pay the cleaners on the holiday so none of the 1st or 2nd floor rooms were clean or available. Cool. I arrive and go to my room 302 located right in front of the open area ice machine. And immediately can hear multiple people stomping around upstairs. Not to mention the grossly stained carpet. I called the front desk and asked to be changed rooms because of these things. She moved me to 304 right next door that was just as dirty and had dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I called the front desk again and told Annette I told her given that both rooms were dirty. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the bed given visible areas of the room were dirty and both rooms were so musty, and smelled it like mold. She apologized and I met her at the front desk. She told me she'd leave notes for her boss and gave me a piece of paper with the managers contact info so I could get my stay refunded because I did in fact not stay. The next morning I called the manager Cherie and I received attitude from the start. She said Annette didn't leave her notes so she needed to go see the rooms herself after asking me what was wrong with them. She claimed the cleaners only leave the dishes clean and insinuated I was lying. I told her I took pictures and had no problem coming back to show her if necessary. She told me that wasn't needed and she'd call me back then click. She hung up. She called me back about 30 minutes later, and offered me 5000 Hilton points but told me they wouldn't be refunding my stay. Not what Annette had told me or I wouldn't have gone on my way so easily. Honestly this is the WORST HILTON I've ever attempted to stay at and the manager should get a new job because she certainly isn't good at customer service. read more

We checked into the room and since Hilton does not let me create a profile that says no feathers or down, I always have to check the pillows when I get to my room so all the pillows in the room were feather and down, and I called down to the front desk to see if I could get synthetic pillows. The gentleman told me he would call housekeeping he called me back and said that they did not have anything except for feather and down pillows I explained that that was unusual because every Hilton hotel that I've stayed in always had an alternative pillow because there are more people other than just myself who have a down and feather allergy. He said he would call the Housekeeper back and call me back. He did not call me back for quite a few minutes and so I called back down and he was very rude and short and said she was running around looking and that he was busy, checking in customers and just let him take care of it after about 25 more minutes my husband and I decided to go down to the front desk and ask for a refund because if they did not have an alternative, I could not stay in a room with feathers and down the front desk lady got the manager and the manager told us too bad so sad I'm not giving you your money back and I don't have an alternative. We are a third-party franchise and we don't have to follow the same rules as other Hilton hotels we once again said they do not have the ability to accommodate my health issue and so therefore they should give us a refund. We left called the main Hilton number. They are going to refund our room and I would recommend no one ever stay here at their customer service is not good and they were very rude and belligerent read more

Passing through town on our way to Vegas. Great spot to rest and relax after a long trip. Checked in and asked for a room not facing the freeway. My husband also requested it when booking the hotel. We did not get the request (sad face). We made due with the room. It was cozy and relaxing. You can hear the highway a bit if you're a light sleeper. The room its self was clean. We got to Kingman AZ very late and I picked the hotel based on a Yelp review. It was everything we wanted and more. A clean, quiet, well equipped suiteclose to the elevators was just the thing for tired road warriors. The no smoking floor was super clean and odor free. The suite was nice with cellphone charging on the nightstands and desk. The sofa was comfortable. I was quite taken with the bedding and the mattress. Breakfast is included and goes 7:30 to 10:00. Out of all of the Hilton Brands we stayed at for the week including a one night stay here, Silk Brand Almond milk was available. I appreciate them thinking of those that do not consume dairy or are consciousness to have options available especially personal size cartons. Also, the manager appreciated me suggesting cinnamon as a spice to have on hand. I would have liked it for the oatmeal. Night and morning staff were friendly. Appreciated that as well since as a guest you expect hospitality and friendless. Hope to stay here in the future. It's convenient to everything. We made reservations using the Hilton app when we knew we would be passing through Kingman in early January. We are Hilton loyal and really like the Home2Suites line of Hilton properties. We appreciate the spaciousness, kitchenette and general setup. There were not any 1-bedroom suites available but they did have the studio suite which we ended up liking as well. The property is convenient to I-40 and also to the historic downtown area and Route 66. The hotel appears to be well kept and has an outdoor pool, jacuzzi tub and outdoor barbecue area with patio furniture and firepits. Our room was comfortable but we did notice that since we were located next to the elevators it was a bit noisy when the elevators would come up to the 4th floor but it wasn't a big deal. Overall it was a great experience and we would highly recommend to others! read more

Stayed here for a night before heading to bullhead. The hotel staff are very friendly and the suite was great. I had 2 other people with me as well as my dog. There's a $75 dog fee and it's a $25 incidental deposit. They have free breakfast in the morning and there's a pool and jacuzzi available until 11pm. There's a Safeway located next door as well as a bunch of fast food restaurants. The room itself comes with a full kitchen a pull out couch and a king size bed. The A/C works great! I stayed at this Home2 Suites on Aug 8 for an evening. Our room was disgusting. Upon just opening the door, a horrible odor came out of the room. After entering, we immediately went back to the front desk to get a different room. Naturally the hotel was sold out with no other rooms available . So we were stuck staying in the disgusting room. The only thing the hotel was willing to do was give us a spray to hopefully help the situation. It did not help at all. It was clear the smell was a result of pets being in the room. If a hotel is going to allow pets, you need to modify your cleaning approach to account for this. We will certainly not be coming back to this hotel again. Note I attempted to contact the hotel management on multiple occasions to see if they would attempt to make the situation right and they couldn't be bothered to respond. We stayed in Home2Suites last night. Very nice experience. The staff was friendly. The room was neat, clean & homey. I loved having the sitting room and kitchenette. I was disappointed there wasn't a cooktop- that would have made it epic. This was night and day from the Hilton Garden Inn in ABQ. Breakfast included although we left too early to try it. The staff was accommodating & provided an extra blanket within a few minutes of the request. I loved the relaxed low key vibe. Maybe it was just the day- but it wasn't crowded which was wonderful. Stayed here for a weekend in late August 2022, and can't say enough good things about it. The rooms are up to the impeccable Hilton brand standards, and offers enough space for two people to sleep comfortably in a king-sized bed. Parking is plentiful around the building, and the property is conveniently positioned off of I-40. If there is one minor bad thing that I would mention, it's that you can hear the I-40 traffic from your room. It's just a given where any hotel property in close proximity to an interstate is going to have this issue, and this property is no exception. However, it's not so terrible...but it's noticeable. Ear plugs are advised for those with sensitive hearing and have trouble sleeping. Plenty of local restaurants in proximity to the property, to include a Safeway that is currently under renovation as of this review. Nonetheless, for those traveling to and from Las Vegas and require a good stay without paying ridiculous Nevada prices at substandard hotels/motels, I would certainly stay at one of Kingman's best lodging options- the Home 2 Suites. One more thing- it really is TRUE that Kingman has some of the friendliest people in all of Arizona. I certainly found it evident at this property. read more

The place was fairly clean, modern, has a free breakfast, hot shower with good water pressure, and kind staff- esp John. Beds and pillows could be better, but I'd stay here again. Stayed during the weekend of Hurricane Hilary. I wanted a top floor, but when we got in a little before 1pm, only first floor rooms were available, so I took it. I didn't hear any heavy steppers above us so that was nice. The a/c definitely blows cold air. I couldn't get a happy medium for temperature so I opted to just put on a jacket. The complimentary breakfast was ok. I def saw that they had premade breakfast sandwiches, coffee and a waffle maker. So there is sustenance to be had. I booked two nights but didn't pay through the third party website- I opted to pay at the hotel. We didn't need to stay a second night after all and I spoke with the young brunette at the front desk. Since I did not prepay with the third party website, she assured me that my second night wouldn't be charged. It's been about 3 weeks and I haven't been charged so that's a good sign. No bug bites so I'm a happy camper. read more

Stayed here one night. Place looked lovely, nice beds, sized rooms, etc. Unfortunately the PILLOWS are clunky, chunky, and uncomfortable for for side sleepers. Moreover, they were missing two dumbbells in the fitness room via 25lb and a 35lb if I recall that limited my daily exercise routine. I politely communicated with the front desk in-person and considering the in-room phone not working, as well as the female manager, asking if they could reimburse me with the points used (to ideally put towards a positive stay), under the circumstance. However when the complaint was escalated to male manager, Trever Palace, I was told NO, nothing can be done, no reimbursement, no compensation, this is the policy, their pillows are Hilton standard policy, etc., etc. Taking no responsibility with zero apparent compassion or empathy on how to make things right for your client(s) does not increase positive experiences, great ratings and reviews. The points were used for a positive stay, not a negative one, and nothing was done to right that wrong. Furthermore, the "free" breakfast is nearly full of processed, unhealthy ingredients-- fine. But NO BREAKFAST POTATOES after that being communicated the night before when checking in and asking about the free breakfast would have been nice since other their other forms of starch was mostly gluten and many people are sensitive or allergic to gluten! Nothing was listed gluten-free. Overall, the management seems apathetic to the care of Trever Palace rather than the clients, and whole reason we stay at quality hotels such as Hilton and by Hilton-- to get a good night's sleep in a quiet, clean room (priority). Yet Trever appears hyper-focused on the pillow complaint to not reimburse points since the pillows are "standard policy" rather than the acknowledging the overall experience and feedback provided to the front desk and female manager yet again on November 12th, 2025. This hotel's management / higher ups appear more concerned with the surface and profits of there bookings than the overall stay and experience of their rewards members, and everything should be important as everything else to attract more positive experiences. read more

I recently stayed in Kingman at the Hampton and after dealing with a few issues I showed up at the Home2 suites. I will say that the overall appearance and interior was newer and more updated but the staff was nice and courteous they let me use the business suite to print and get some work done because the Hamptons was not working. I typically stay at Hamptons but I feel like they are going downhill. Also parking with Trucks and trailers is more accommodating they have an oversized lot in front of the hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. Check in was a breeze and they even remembered my extra pillows. The room was ok and had everything we needed for a few days including a couch and a small kitchen. The room itself was clean except for the carpet which was filthy. The bathroom door was also an absolute nightmare. It is a heavy pocket door with no real handle and was EXTREMELY difficult to open and close. You could see the areas where the paint was worn because it is rubbing on something making it even more difficult to open since there is no handle. They have a nice lobby with plenty of seating for the free breakfast or hanging out at night if you want to play cards or a game outside of your room. The breakfast was your usual juice, coffee, waffles, fruit and a random hot breakfast item. Each morning they were out of bread for toast and I always got stuck with the strawberry banana yogurt that no else wants. They have a small pool and spa, which was closed, and a nice seating area with grills if you want to cook. There was also a small gym if you want to spoil your vacation by working out. Bed bugs! Beware! We stayed at Home 2 Suites by Hilton Kingman on Monday, November 18, 2019. We stayed one night while passing through. We contacted Hilton after it had happened by responding to a "how was your stay" inquiry. We told them that one of us had bed bug bites. They responded with: "Thank you for your feedback of your recent stay with us. I was very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the cleanliness of your suite. It is our goal to exceed the expectations of our guests. We have inspected that room of both yours and your partner and have not discovered any bed bugs. This is not the experience we want you to have while at any hotel. I hope that if you travels bring you back to the area that you will consider staying with us again." I got 11 bites across my left leg from my thigh to my ankle. They appeared the next morning and were quite itchy. Not a fun experience. We will not be staying at this place ever again. read more

My son and I drove from Atlanta, GA to Northern California and were exhausted when we pulled into Kingman. After dinner, we decided to end the day's driving and find a nearby hotel. Booking through Expedia didn't go as expected, however, and when I started over, it defaulted to a reservation date two weeks later. I'd booked for the wrong date. So I called the hotel directly. Tabitha was extremely helpful. She looked it up and saw the reservation, and explained that they were completely booked, but also said that she'd be able to offer me a room that they had blocked for special issues like these. However, because I booked through the third party, she told me that I'd need to work with Expedia to move the date - which meant calling some representative of Expedia's in Asia and explaining how the desk clerk had a room for me, despite the hotel showing as full. The experience with Expedia was not easy, but Tabitha made it as painless as possible. And when I arrived, there was an additional issue with the credit card processing through Expedia, but Tabitha stayed on the phone and really handled it very well. I was very grateful she was there to help. She made an otherwise awful experience bearable. read more

Hilton honors - 72 hours case: Home 2 Suits Kingman, AZ There was a rotisserie chicken carcass with mold and maggots and other food trash under the sink. The room smelled terrible from the time we arrived. Smelled like the floors had been wet and never properly dried out. Mildew type smell. Then the second night is when I discovered the chicken situation under the sink. We talked to front desk, he told us to throw it out and said it happens more often than it should... and to speak to the manager Trevor the next morning. I was physically Ill throwing up smelling that. Our family was in two other rooms otherwise we would have left immediately. At one point the elevators were not working and myself and my husband are disabled veterans and can't be hiking up and down stairs. The next day Trevor spoke with my husband and said he would refund one night. On the bill there was no credit line only payment and charges. I also thought both nights should be refunded. I went and spoke with him and asked him to explain where there was a credit for one night. When he realized his nonsense explanation wasn't working on me because I know how to read he agreed to refund both nights. He then gave me a new receipt that showed $0 balance. He explained that since we booked on the app with the pay in advance feature it was "third party" and that the refund had to come from them and said to call them if I don't see it in 5-7 days. It's been 2 weeks so I called Hilton customer care. She apologized for that experience and said that was not true the refund would in fact come from the property because they pay the property the amount that's paid in advance. She sent them a case so I'm waiting now to see the next step. Hopefully they respond and provide a solution. Overall training and more attention to detail on cleanliness is a MUST. I would not recommend the Kingman, AZ home 2 suits location. read more

Check in was fast and smooth, the staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and modern. The included breakfast buffet is okay, but not great. It will fuel you for the day, and save the cost of buying breakfast. They have a nice outdoors fire pit and BBQ's...they'll even loan you the BBQ tools to grill yourself a burger or steak (which you'll have to provide, several grocery stores nearby.) Location is very good. Situated right off the Interstate 40, super easy to get to. And located right in the midst of numerous shopping and eating choices, you don't have to drive more than a couple miles to find just about anything you'll need. (This is Kingman, so don't be expecting a lot of fine dining around.) If you need a place to stay for a night or more in Kingman, can't go wrong here. read more

Front desk was very nice. Room, not so clean. Carpet had debris on it and bathroom wasn't very clean. Bed was so so with only 3 pillows that don't hold shape. The room space is ok if you are traveling alone. The bed is literary inches from the AC. When you get up in the dark, expect to smash your feet and knees on it. The room is the same size as a typical room stuffed furniture making it feel smaller. I won't be staying here or at any of their other similar designed properties due to the uncomfortable feeling it left us with. For the price we paid, we expected better. read more

The decor of this hotel is pretty nice, but the rest doesn't meet the expectations you have when you look at photos. Our room was poorly cleaned with hair in the shower, stains on the carpet, and countertops that hadn't been wiped down in the kitchen. The room was missing basic amenities like conditioner and lotion. The bathroom door was a pocket door, that you needed incredible finger strength to close all the way. The mattress was "well used", not supportive and without much cushion and the box spring was bare and exposed. The breakfast was sad. It was incredibly cramped, had signs about "only taking two hot items," etc. At least it was quiet. read more

A quick review telling about our recent experience at the Home2Suites by Hilton. Our stay was far from restful as we were assigned a room near the interstate. All night long we heard traffic which kept us awake as the noise never ended. We asked for a mountain view room, and paid extra for the room, based on a review I read before reserving our room. I don't think we received a mountain view room as our room was next to the interstate. I later discovered the mountain room was probably on the other side of the hotel as the mountains were closer to that side of the hotel. It was probably quieter too as it was away from the interstate. The real kicker is when we were preparing to check-out of our room I opened the dishwasher up to add a couple glasses we used during our stay. To my surprise I found a dishwasher full of dishes. I'm not sure if they were clean or dirty. I now wonder if the glasses I used were clean thanks to my dishwasher discovery. Key points: The hotel is located near an interstate and our room was noisy. I gave it 3 stars due to the overwhelming chemical smell once we got in the room. It is strong. I'm not sure what type of chemical was used and honestly not sure what the smell really was but it was definitely strong and lingering. The spare sheets in the cabinet were not clean. They had stains and didn't looked washed. There was also a used towel tucked in there? ... I went to the front desk to ask for another blanket. The lady at the front desk was hesitant to supply me an additional blanket. The hesitant demeanor was followed up with an annoyed and inconvenienced look that she needed to get me a spare blanket. I'm glad she eventually went to get one for me and I'm grateful for that. I'm not sure why me asking for another blanket would be such an issue here. If I'm paying for a room I would think the one necessity I need to sleep with would be a clean blanket. I can see if my request to the front desk was something unrealistic, but if I'm asking for bare minimum which should have already been provided then I'm not clear why the front desk was bothered at all. Overall I'd pass on the staying here unless you want to take a chance on potentially having to deal with dismissive front desk staff that don't want to be bothered. read more

Front desk had 4 quarters but would not exchange for a $1 because "need them in case of change." While leaving in disappointment was told "if you are dedicated there is...down the road."
