Then it became nearly impossible to open. I called Frank, my wife called Frank, explained the problem and asked if he could come look at it. No reply, crickets. That's our experience. 10/16/2022... my door has been in the same place for 22 years and it hasn't stuck to the weather stripping until we hired Frank to replace the weather stripping. Frank from Homefixir Handyman was outstanding!!! The job was a jammed outside gate. It required cutting down the wood and re-installing the hardware. It was a small job but he treated it with 100% professional care. He gave me a reasonable estimate based on a few photos that I texted to him. He explained how his system worked including that if he encountered unforeseen issues he would discuss costs and options before moving forward. He was able to do the job the next day but offered other available days. Before arriving he brought up the need for access to a power outlet and asked about availability of touch-up paint. When touch-up paint couldn't be found he had his own paint which was a perfect match. He showed up exactly on time and completed the job perfectly. He sent me photos and videos of the work. He offered many ways to pay including a credit card and provided an invoice through Quicken. Many other handyman won't give estimates or have high minimums that don't work for smaller jobs.
