The staff is refreshingly friendly and never rushes me or hovers over me. Just the way I like to shop! I think this is especially important to mention because a lot of their merchandise is religious based so it is a unique experience that needs to be savored. Today, I purchased some Christmas Home Decor that I will treasure for years! I also stopped in their treasured Prayer Room. It is a little area in the center of the room where you can write down prayers on a tag and hang it on the wall. Others are encouraged to take a tag and become a Prayer Warrior for the person who left the prayer. Today, was a very impactful visit for me. I went into Philanthropy with a heavy heart because we found out our good friend that has been battling cancer was moved to hospice. The prayer room gave me peace & I left feeling a little lighter. I have called five times and have repeatedly been told someone would call me back, but no one has followed through. First, they said the owner was out of the country, and the last 4 calls they promised a callback after speaking to the owner and manager. Still haven't heard back from them. The store presents itself as a Christian business and has a prayer room inside, which makes the lack of accountability and customer care especially disappointing. I expected the product to be better quality and, at the very least, for someone to follow up and make it right. I hope the store resolves this promptly and begins treating customer concerns with the integrity its branding suggests.
