This is an excellent discount grocery store, if you know how to shop and you know what you're looking for. You can score some excellent deals here now and then. I live a 30 minute drive from this place, but since this is the closest one near me, I occasionally come here. I certainly think that it's worth it to come back every few weeks just to see what deals are going on. One thing to note is that you should always check the expiration date on the things you buy here. Sometimes, that date is tomorrow or even today. But other times, it is a few weeks or months out (especially for the frozen items). I have not bought any fresh meat here yet, but I found that I got a lot of packaged goods and frozen foods the few times that I've already been here. You might notice that there are a lot of very big, boxed items. It seems to me that some of their inventory comes from Sams Club or BJ's or Costco (basically, wholesale membership clubs) where these size items would be found. That isn't true for all of their items, but for a lot of them. It's unfortunate that a lot of their inventory varies, because I have found some deals here that I would never be able to find anywhere else. One thing that I still can't stop thinking about to this day is the 4-pack of Frontera chicken fajita bowl dinners that I got here for $8 total, when they are $4.69 EACH at Whole Foods. I never saw them at Grocery Outlet again. Speaking of which, they do have a decent selection of high-quality, health-conscious items if you are interested in that sort of thing. You don't always have to spend big to find some great options at the grocery store. Grocery Outlet is evidence of that. That being said, I personally do not utilize Grocery Outlet for ALL of my shopping needs. There are some things I like to get elsewhere, but I am not opposed to trying them at Grocery Outlet at some point in the future (such as the fresh meat that I mentioned). And although I do not use Grocery Outlet as a primary source for my groceries, I certainly think that you could. They do sell it all, from kitchenwares to baked goods to fresh foods to frozen foods, and more. I am a regular customer and I will return here every few weeks. I only wish that there were more Grocery Outlet stores near me. I even turned one of my friends on to this store by sending them pictures of the absolutely crazy deals that I have found before. They now shop regularly at a different Grocery Outlet near them, as well.

I wouldn't recommend the produce as it's not very fresh but you could run the Wegmans or Aldi's for that.

I live about a mile away, but shop in Giant right across the street from my home. I do go…read moreregularly to this mall for Ollie's, State Store, and some kind of Dollor Store. When i had a thought for some beer and decided that now would be a good time to check out this Acme location Just in case there are other times that i might need something. So i ran in for a quick pick-up. First step in, i noticed how picture perfect the store was, then looking around i realized why....there were no customers ! {-that was my first warning-} Several workers looked like they were having an impromptu meeting at one of the aisle end caps....and that was about it for people. So i quickly went and found my beer; went to the cashier and was promptly asked for my ID ? { i don't own a car, so i don't waste money on having a DL.} Now, even though i'm young looking for my age of 65, with a great mane of silver, EVERYONE can clearly see i'm older than 21 years. I left the beer where it sat and walked out, never to return ! On line, Acme explained that they card everyone as a rule, so there's no confusion..... Oh really ? Dear Acme, since you only want to hire idiots that can't see to comprehend, OR hire management with capabilities, this Senior Citizen will not be supporting a company that has no respect for the elderly in the community. I WILL be supporting local stores who do respect and appreciate their older neighbors. Even if i'm right next store ... i'll make the extra effort to avoid this perfect picture and empty business !

The most expensive store! I have switched to ShopRite. ShopRite the shelves are always stocked and…read morethe prices are by far the best. Also customer service and cashiers are so accommodating and pleasant. Acme I feel so rushed and a lot of times have to bag my own groceries. Unless I go through check out. The one snow storm I was checking out and this kid was so sick and blowing his nose and wiping his nose. It made me sick. Left my cart and left. Like why did management let him work when he was that sick! Very unsanitary! Acme could make prices more affordable but instead choose price gouging. If stores like ShopRite, Walmart and Aldis prices are cheaper and more affordable to struggling customers then why can't ACME! Definitely shore what ACME cares about more and that would be the bottom dollar for them verses making things better for the customers!
