Perfect Peace Tea's $7 Half-Finger Embroidered Flower Gloves in "Sky Blue"~ So comfy & Pretty!!
    Rachelle P.

I stopped by yesterday for their farmers market! I purchased Perfect Peace Tea's $7 Half-Finger Embroidered Flower Gloves in "Sky Blue" and HomeGrown Inc's 2 for $2 Honey Sticks. Gloves are 100% acrylic, are so beautiful and cozy, I wore them all day! I just love roses! The honey sticks are for hubby's stocking! A Really sweet owner opened her non-profit small business this fall! You'll find so many great gift options at a great price, when you visit her weekend, indoor-farmers market! Perfect for rainy days! She's having a popup with the amazing Haus of Aloha on the 28th from 10:00AM-4:00PM! I'll be back! SYOY! :D *Song Credit: Joyful Christmas by SergePavkinMusic Site: https://pixabay.com/music/-joyful-christmas-116574/

My parents come to this Chinese herbal store all the time and they have so much to offer (eg…read more Herbs, teas, dried goods, ointments, preserved goods, etc.). The business is family owned and they are really nice. Towards the end of the parking lot, away from the mess of SF Supermarket, which is means parking is not too bad.

I rarely go to this area but found myself at SF Super doing some grocery shopping where I stumbled…read moreinto this Chinese herbal shop. It's at the other end of the plaza, so it's pretty easy to miss if you don't usually go to that end, but I'm glad I found it. The place is a bit packed with stuff so it can be hard to maneuver around when it's busy like when I went. The owners and employees are all super nice and helpful. I ran out of my favorite herbal tea to drink when you feel "yeet hay," so I decided to go in and see if they have it. They said the brand I use isn't available anymore, but they carried different brands, so now I had options. I decided to get both brands of the sugar free ones and found out the ones I had before were full of sugar because these new ones were bitter, but that's when you know it's good. Not sure how pricey they are like others have said but the tea I got was standard pricing like other places. They carry frozen Australian abalone, so that's definitely something I'll get next time when I want to splurge on myself. I'll take my time next time to see what else they carry.

I got the Cali Salad roll, and while it wasn't my fav, I'd say it was nice to be able to try it. The rice was a bit too vinegary for my taste, the roll slightly had trouble holding itself together, the shredded 'salad' part was somewhat dry. I've had worse grocery store sushi, but probably wouldn't get this here again. Looking forward to next Friday!

I have been a frequent customer at this Safeway and shop here almost daily. Unfortunately, my…read moreexperience today was upsetting and left me feeling unwelcome. Throughout my visit, a security guard appeared to follow me from aisle to aisle and to every area of the store I visited. After noticing the pattern, I politely asked if there was a reason he was following me. His response was, "That's what they pay me for." Even after that conversation, he continued monitoring me in a way that felt excessive, including standing near areas where it seemed obvious he was watching me specifically. At no point was I doing anything other than shopping. As an African American customer, the experience left me feeling singled out and treated like a suspect rather than a valued customer. Whether intentional or not, that is how it felt. No customer should leave a store feeling embarrassed or profiled while simply trying to shop. I spend my money where I feel respected, and after this experience, I would rather drive across town than return to this location. I hope management takes concerns like this seriously and reviews how customers are being approached and monitored. I respect what people do and the purpose however this really felt like I was being targeted and discriminated against!
