Plastic bags will be discontinued on April 6, 2026 and there will be a charge of $0.05 per plastic bag/$0.10 per paper bag. Baggers are available to provide services. The store recently changed management, and the young couple who now run it have made some nice changes. They have also included a small selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, and have revamped their freezer section. The thing that ranks them highest in town for me is the bright, open feel to the store. The lights are on, the space is clean, and everything has a price tag. Not only are things easy to find, but you don't have to ask what things cost. This makes it a more comfortable shopping experience for customers who are new to an Asian market. This is a standard corner convenience/grocery store. What this store has going for it is location. It is on a quiet street with a large parking lot. It is obviously placed and thought out for a person to visit on their way to or from work. One thing that I truly appreciate is the gathering of items into simple packs. Need a salad? They have lettuce and tomatoes bundled together. Quick and easy lunch items are also bundled together near the back of the store. They also have a small selection of beer and pastries. I don't believe a person would do a large shopping trip at the store. At this store, I went to the beauty aisle and tried to get assistance, but the employee ignored me and helped someone else first. When I got to the register, she finally assisted me but did so with a noticeably unfriendly attitude. I don't expect exceptional customer service, but a simple smile or basic acknowledgment goes a long way. I remained polite, but the experience left a negative impression.

I waited for a full hour for no one to tell me that they couldn't change the oil on my car because one of their machines was broken, and the only way I found out is when I went up to the register and the cashier told me.
