Absolute delicious liangpi rougamo and other appetizers!! I'd come here everyday. For $20 you can eat so good

Noodles come with big portion and you can choose the different cuts of noodles ( thin, thick etc). This is a good place if you're looking for cheap quick bite. The spring onion pancake was not good. Potato salad was decent. This place is vegetarian friendly

I'm so glad I discovered this place, and now I'm a fan! The best dish was definitely their Spicy Dan Dan Noodles, with the perfect balance of savoury ground beef sauce and chilli oil on fresh, hand-pulled noodles. The heat level was mild enough to enjoy comfortably. My second favourite was the lamb skewers, especially since they were on a BOGO promotion. The staff brought them sizzling to our table, and the smoky flavour was irresistible. I also tried the chicken cartilage, which was chewy and equally delicious. The rolled onion pancake with beef was crispy, hearty, and easy to grab on the go. The amusingly named Sichuan Saliva Chicken turned out to be mouthwatering cold chicken in chilli oil. The entire menu is affordable, which must be a godsend for students. It's run by a friendly family and has a really chill vibe. I'd definitely come back for another satisfying meal!

Cheap but really not good. Their beef ramen soup is just a watery beef broth with over cooked beef slices. The pork Chinese hamburger is ok but the dough is tasteless

After the AutoShow, we stopped for dinner, and I have to admit, I initially found the name of the restaurant hilarious. Turns out, it is a hand-pulled noodle specialty spot, and any doubts I had were completely unnecessary. The noodles stick to the basics in the best way possible, with a perfect texture that I really appreciated. While some might prefer a heavier broth, I loved how light and refreshing it was. For anyone looking for a bowl of soup that is both satisfying and not overly rich, this would be a great choice. From the skewers to the condiments, I noticed that this place does not rely on heavy seasoning but instead focuses on balance and clarity of flavors. The execution was spot on, and I would not mind coming back to explore more of the menu. Overall, the food quality was excellent, the service was decent and kind, and best of all, it will not hurt your wallet. A solid spot worth revisiting!

Great value for your money. Excellent portion sizes. Prices are same as pre-pandemic! But... yes, there's a BUT! But the service is NOT why you go there. You've been warned. Also, don't wear your Sunday best there. Ideally, rummage through your dirty laundry hamper, and wear what you're needing to wash. You'll thank me afterwards.

It's a pretty legit north China noodle restaurant, yeah...including the decoration. There were some cheesy pictures and Chinese slogans on the wall. However, the flavour of the food was good. You can choose the thickness of the noodle or even pick "DaoXiaoMien"(Shaved noodle). I will definitely come back and have different types of noodles! It can be paid by card, too. That's a plus for an Asian restaurant. You know what I mean.

SO impressed by this Chinatown noodle spot! Food comes out quickly. You know it's legit when you get to choose your noodle thickness! Firstly, the cold chili oil 凉皮 was excellent. So flavorful and not too spicy. I tried both the thicker noodles and the 2 mm noodle, both exceptional. Super fresh, perfect texture, and generous servings of meat. So upset I don't live in Toronto otherwise I'd be here every week!

Been here a couple of times. The food is tasty and they pull the noodles in the restaurant. The cold beef side dish was a good balance of spice. Both the noodles we tried were also really good! Portions are good as well. Overall, I would recommend:)

It's one of my go-to restos in Chinatown, Toronto! Some of the dishes I've tried: Hand-pulled ramen with beef in soup $11.99 Hand-pulled ramen stir-fried with lamb $13.99 Stir-fried sliced noodles with beef $13.99 Sichuan saliva chicken (Spicy) $5.99 Taste: 5/5 Everything I've tried so far is super tasty and flavourful. And they always come with a generous portion. Great value! Vibe: 3/5 Spacious and clean Service: 3.5/5 Servers are polite. Food is served at an acceptable speed unless it's peak hour.

Wow is all I can say, came here on a recommendation of a local, he said this place hands down is the best for fresh home made noodles and they did not disappoint, just look at the pics, truly delicious thick northern China noodles, portions are huge and prices are really great, and easy underground parking from there, fun place to visit.

This is my go to Chinese ramen shop! Super affordable price and everything I've tried so far were tasty. I ordered the sliced noodle with beef brisket. The beef was so tender and the noodles were thick & chewy (just the way I like it). I really liked the flavour of the saliva chicken with the chilli oil and Peanuts, but the chicken was a lil dry. It seems like they actually fried the chicken a bit cause the skin was a lil crispy/hard. I'm the past, I've also tried their stir fry sliced noodles (one of my favs and I always struggle deciding between this dish and soup noodles) & pig ears in chilli oil (another yummy appetizer). Go to Jess.feed.me on IG for more food photos!

Hand Pulled Noodles with Beef (in soup): Flavourful broth that wasn't overpowering and salty. The noodles were a nice chewy texture. the toppings like the radish had a subtle sweetness to it & great crunch alongside the noodles. A huge plus is that you can choose between 6 different noodle widths (ranging from 1mm to 50mm)! I had gotten the 3mm (two-small) size shown in the 2nd photo and found it to be the perfect size. Overall, an amazing noodle shop & great place to go especially during the cold winter weather. The place can get busy especially at night to be aware for larger group sizes.

We walked in at around ~7 pm on a Saturday and it was looking busy - however, we were seated pretty quickly given there was only 2 of us. Lots of seating inside for different groups, and I appreciate how there was some bar seating that accommodated single patrons. We ordered takoyaki and 2 ramen - I had the regular Tori Paitan while my partner had the God Fire (level 2). You had the option to customize your bowl from beginning to end - from softness of the noodles, saltiness of the broth, extra toppings - this place really reminded me of the local ramen spots we went to when we were in Japan. Despite how busy the restaurant was, the food came out quick!! Takoyaki was delicious and piping hot. The broth for both ramen came out very flavourful and I will say - while my partner loves spicy food and I do not... I cannot imagine what level 4 would taste like, level 2 definitely had a kick! The staff were amazing and navigated a small space so well. We really enjoyed our dinner - we were in and out within an hour. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend!

My friend had the King of Kings as our server said this is one of their most popular choices. I opted for the Spicy Charsu. Now I understand some people can't handle heat but I live off of Purple Tongue hot sauce which is made with some pretty hot peppers. I asked for a level one and the lady explained that the spice level on the Charsu was a whole series of levels higher than the King of Kings. I get that . Give me the heat. Anywho, she was comfortable with giving me 0.5 but said I could make it hotter if need be. Ok, better to start smaller I guess. They put some sauce on the side which I added to my bowl. Personally I found the 0.5 a nice tingle; it was good. Made my nose run. But I'm totally getting the level 1 next time. My friend however tried a sip of my broth, spit it out and said poison poison because of the heat Mind you, his King of Kings was a level 1. Which to me tasted creamy and delicious. I love a good pork bone soup and I opted for the Spicy Charsu because of the pork bone base. I loved the broth. It was perfection. The noodles were so fresh . The portion size was enormous. I kept eating and more noodles appeared. The Charsu had an amazing flavor to it . Smoky and delicious . My friend is a larger man and even he commented on the portion size saying he would be ok with a smaller size as he was so full. Good portions for your money. We also had the Gyoza and the TakoYaki. The TakoYaki was soft and loaded with the delicious sauce. The Gyoza were enormous. We were both 100% satisfied with our visit and will be back for sure.

The concerned server told me that it may be painful, but being the chili head that I am, I gladly took on the challenge. It was a larger bowl than their regular size and my ramen came topped with lots of corn, some mushrooms, bean sprouts and 6 large pieces of chasu. The broth was magma red, but it was not as spicy as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, it was spicy but not to the point where it would warrant a warning. The spicy broth tasted like a mix of Buldak sauce and Capsaicin, but didn't have much depth. I finished my ramen, broth and all and enjoyed most of the experience. The least favorite was the chasu and the egg as chasu did not taste fresh, and I could not taste the char on them at all. The egg was over-cooked and under marinated which was disappointing. It's still one of the few ramen options in Durham but can't say it's comparable to the other Kenzo locations.

Konjiki is good, far from great, but very solid. The broth has the right consistency with a satisfying richness, falling just a touch short of the deep, creamy intensity I personally look for. The noodles were cooked perfectly, maintaining just the right amount of bite. Nothing ruins a bowl of ramen faster than overcooked noodles. The soft-boiled egg was equally well executed, with a perfectly jammy center, and the chashu had excellent flavor and texture. My biggest criticism isn't what's missing....it's what's added. Like many ramen shops outside Japan, Konjiki includes pickled ginger, pickled takana, and braised bamboo shoots. For me, none of them improve the bowl. In fact, I think they distract from what should be the star of the show: the broth. In hindsight, I could have easily asked for them to be left out, but I've never really understood why they're included in the first place. Even so, this is a very respectable bowl of tonkotsu ramen and one I'd happily order again.
