From painless and patient sales/planning with Comfort Specialist John B, to scheduling with Brian, digital paperwork with Laurie, and installation with Team Leader Carlos and his crew -- everything was excellent. On the morning of installation, Carlos and his team arrived 10 minutes before the appointment time (how often does that happen?!) in their sharp-looking company-branded truck -- which my husband immediately noticed as a sign of Rycor's pride in their image and reputation. They confirmed installation locations and processes with me and my contractor, then promptly got to work. It was one of the most impressive operations we've ever seen. They were like the A-Team (for those familiar with the '80s show!) -- everyone knew their role, worked diligently, collaborated smoothly, and stayed polite throughout. They coordinated seamlessly with our electrician, who was running the wiring for the units. Once installation was complete, Carlos walked us through each tested unit, explained the remote controls and settings, and offered best-practice tips. The finished work looked great both inside and outside the house. Afterwards, the team even covered all the installed units carefully to protect them from dust and damage, as our renovation still had a long way to go. Rycor also handled the rebate paperwork and warranty registration for us, which was a huge help. We fully expect to work with Rycor again for additional units and future annual maintenance. I was suspicious when I called with an issue, and the whole phone system had changed. The "tech" they sent out was basically a sales guy who didn't care about fixing the issue so much as selling me a whole new upgraded system. Mitsubishi minis are still the best in my opinion, but I'd check with a few companies first before choosing Rycor. The new ow era care more about gouging you as much as possible than they do about providing lifetime customers. It's sad given what a company Scott Arnold had built!

I had an appointment booked for over a week. I usually get a confirmation text the day before with other companies but didn't with Heckeroth. I did not think much of it and assumed I was all set. I scheduled my work day around this appointment which was between 12-2. I had a busy morning and missed a call at 10:45am confirming the appointment. I called at 12:30 to check status and eta. The woman, who answered, confirmed my name and address, told me that no, my appointment isn't 12-2, it's 12-4. I said I was told 12-2 when I booked and she said no, 12-4. The tone said I was mistaken. She also had no clue of the approximate time someone would come. Fine, now I have to get a ride for my daughter so I can now be home and available until 4pm. At 3:30, I decide to give them a call again to check the eta. A different woman answered, equally as indifferent and not understanding of the situation but did confirm I was scheduled between 12-2. She informed me that she called at 10:45am and I didn't answer so the technician was gone for the day and my appointment cancelled. What?! I called at 12:30 and was told someone would arrive between 12-4. She said, "Well I don't know who you spoke to but...". At this point I was made to feel like I was incorrect by 2 employees when indeed my appointment was between 12-2 and I did call at 12:30 and spoke to someone who confirmed my appointment. What's going on in that office? Her attitude was horrifying and I never get upset in these situations but said that this is ridiculous and I won't be doing business with them if this is how they treat people. Her response was, "ok". I feel I dodged a bullet. If this is how you treat potential customers...I was about to drop thousands on this job. Also, you don't send a technician for a scheduled appointment simply because the person didn't pick up when you called an hour before the appointment was set? Awful and a waste of my time.

This was a 2 day project using the 1st day to remove the old system and seal ducts and day 2 to install and test the new system. They arrived on time with all the necessary parts and equipment to handle any potential problems. During the duct sealing process, it was determined that the existing duct structure had the equivalent of a 25.8 square hole. After sealing, this was reduced to the equivalent of a 2.3 square inch hole. IMPRESSIVE ! The new system was installed per plan and has been running well for over a month which includes one or two 90 degree days. It is so quiet that one can hardly hear it.
