I WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS. THEY DONT DESERVE A SINGLE STAR. These place does so so work, owner OBED and his two rude nasty girls he got working for him in front ( relatives). Them 3 are the rudest folks I've had dealt with in years. Obed would agree with a price with my dad and I and those girls would jack up price when we would go drop off car or car seats. When we would request to speak to Obed (worst rude guy ever) they would look at each other one would get on phone guessing to call him to avoid us talking to him but we already had his number so I would call him. This girls always acting shady but not surprised. They work outside of property spraying chemicals with no tarp to protect people walking by or other businesses from inhaling this fumes and other cars parked in local business. Homestead City and business insurance have to follow up with these type of business. I tried talking complaining to him about his two female workers and he turned it back on me. I've made other notifications needed to try to solve this bad business practice of chemical use outside without employees proper PPE and environmental concerns. read more

Took my car in to have the dash cover replaced since it was cracked and over 2 weeks later the vehicle remains unrepaired and they kept telling me everyday that it would be done by 4pm that day for a week. Today I had enough, and decided to remove the vehicle with the work undone and my dashboard dismantled. I'm now in the process of looking for another auto interior specialist to repair this damage. Ovel is unprofessional to say the least and it's apparent this business has no respect for their customer's time plus by most reviews here it's obvious that there is a pattern to giving customers the run around and they never return calls nor do they contact you with updates at any given time. Wish I could give negative stars. We dropped off our truck for interior redo. We were asked to pay the total quote upfront, which was a total mistake, but we trusted the owner. They gutted the interior and did the headliner and carpet, mind you this was over the course of one year! Our truck sat much of this time untouched and while it sat was broken into as someone tried to steal it. Finally due to the break end we had to have it towed out of there. We had driven it there but towing was our only option after this disaster. When we asked for the parts returned they "couldn't find them". So we are out original parts, money for redo, repairs for attempted theft and have been without this work truck for a year. Could it get much worse? I guess it's time for litigation. I used there services to cover a desk chair for my husband and it was the worst service ever. The owner is very rude and pushy to use only his fabrics. He is not a professional businessman at all. I waited a while two weeks more than was expected to get the chair. Used to be good but have become lax. My car was in the shop mostly untouched for 5 months. I was continuously given the run around advising it would be ready 'next week'. Next week came and went each time and still not ready. Obed is nice and treats you like you've known him for years which leads you to want to trust him but all I was given was one lie after another. They know you're at their mercy so you have no choice but to wait. All my car needed was a new top and new carpeting. 5 months is unacceptable. I picked up my car only to have to drop it off at a mechanic because the windshield wipers no longer work and it began overheating. These issues did not occur prior to dropping off the vehicle. In addition, I had one minor crack on my dash, now I have 2 very large obvious cracks that go from one end of the dash to the other. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. read more

Walked in with receipt to pick up my slip cover and glider, handed the employee the slip, They called out the manager immediately, the manager pointed out my furniture and I was silent because I was shocked! The manager immediately became defensive and said that he was very transparent about the condition and quality of the job before hand and that this was the finished product. I replied that it looked like a quilt was draped over the furniture instead of a custom fitted slip cover. I'm attaching pictures to show what a TERRIBLE JOB they did. The headliner in my wife's Accord has seen better days and she wont stop bugging me about it. So I brought the car in mid morning and was shown the different options for headliner fabric including factory original and aftermarket. Factory original costs more but has an awesome warranty, and is an exact match so that's what I went with. They removed the headliner in about 15 minutes and I was able to take car and go on with my day. It was ready to be reinstalled early afternoon. I dealt with the owner, the owner's son, and the office manager and was given top notch customer service. I'm very happy with their service and would easily recommend them. read more

Dropped off 4 small items for re-upholstering. Should have received some sort of receipt for the handoff but didn't and I did not press the issue like I should have. Still waiting on these items, It's been 8 months!! Zero communication from the business and the only time I receive any update regarding my items is when I call or show up in person to the shop inquiring about them. Started off really well with the owner Obed, ended super sour! I bought a boat from someone in Homestead, he gave me a receipt and said, "I reupholstered all the seats and here's the receipt." Used the boat twice, and there was a slight tear in one of the seats. I called Obed, told him about my situation. He was very cooperative, I asked him should i send you a picture of the seat to see if it's repairable? He said, "no no no, just come on in and we'll fix it for you" Since I live about 1:30 from his shop I decided to ship it out to him. Following day, he calls me almost cursing me out, "NICE TRY, NICE TRY!" he said with a high tone. I was puzzled, what's going on? He said, "nice try, you're trying to get a freebie, this is not my material and not my work." At that moment I was puzzled. He kept yelling at me assuming I was trying to screw him. I then asked how much it would be and he gave me a very high price and said CASH! I told him I'll shop around before getting it done. After shopping I called him back to get my cushion back, if he would be able to send it back to me at my expense. He said i would have to come pick it up in person because he didn't trust me! WoW, I was surprised and quickly asked him could I send you a return label? He said yes and hung up. I called him back to get his email and he gave me either a wrong one or he never checked it! Took 3 days, I needed the cushion back so I could use my boat that weekend. I called back Wednesday and Alejandra picks up, she gave me a completely different email to send the label. I felt like it was getting held on purpose after a complete misunderstanding. I asked if she received it and if it would be shipped out that day, didn't get a response until half way through the day, then I asked her if she would send it out by the end of the day, she said not until a truck gets here. So I was completely done with all the waiting and time was running out, didn't know if they would ever send it out, so I scheduled a pickup. I had a horrible experience with their communications. Not knocking on their product, the rest of the seats are really well done, I never noticed the difference of the material, I'm not a professional Obed. All of this could have been resolved better. Replaced OEM convertible top with them. Was assured that the exact replacement top would be just fine...after a few months the first replacement top seams were splitting and pulling apart. They replaced it under warranty, seemingly with a bit of hesitation doing so, and even the second replacement top is falling apart and sub-standard quality. When I complained the rear window defroster would not work Mr. Obed tried to tell me it was due to the wiring from my car not the window. I then took it down the street to a professional auto electrician, he fully traced the wiring and found nothing wrong with my car. But when the electrician attempted to solder the wiring connection directly from the convertible top wiring from the rear-window defroster to the car wiring, it fell off the window. Very disappointed in the quality of parts and service received which cost over $1,200.00 in parts and service. For a professional shop I am so surprised they treat customers this way. read more
