My…read morehome is 11 years old and in beautiful shape, but the way Baranick writes his report, the sky is falling. Every chance he gets he writes a generic warning that implies there is a problem when there is none. For instance "Gas leaking can occur and buyers are urged to have routine gas leak tests conducted". Or "Your safety depends on the presence of a T&P valve and an overflow leg" when in fact he points out that both of these exist. Or "it is important to caulk where the cable enters the house" when indeed there is sufficient caulk. It's hard enough to sell a house in CNY without Chicken Little running around scaring off buyers like they're purchasing a money pit.
