They tried to force it to lean so it would drain and even left a pump sticking out of a whole in the ceiling. They actually did that!! The unit itself should never have been installed in the first place as it did not fit in the space but we had no say in that. So Gerardo had a job on his hands and he did an amazing job! He corrected the drain issue left by the original company, removed the ridiculous pump, rerouted the drain the way it should have been in the first place and even put a second drain to be doubly sure. Now we have a drain connected to the sink plumbing, the tub plumbing and the overflow. We hired him again when we broke it during a remodel by running the AC while we were sanding drywall. It had to be removed from the ceiling to clean, which was a massive job. We recently had a third issue which he corrected and wasn't even going to charge me. I paid him anyway because it had nothing to do with the previous work he had done. I will also point out that Gerardo returns my text and calls nights and weekends. Twice he did not charge me for the visit. I think his prices are reasonable but I have not compared them. I will say, this guy works his butt off and he won't quit until it's working properly. He's worth every penny!!

I used their service a couple times for my Miele freezer (that still needs help and isn't working…read moreas I type this review). Here are things to know: 1) You have to believe in coincidences... They came to fix my freezer that was working except it was sometimes making a noise (as if there was ice on the fan like 9 months prior when they first came to fix it). The technician came, removed parts as he thawed them, worked on my freezer and 'fixed' it... except my freezer never started cooling again and is now completely out of order. I called their office the following morning. It took them a week to send someone. Same repairman. I am now told a part is broken and needs to be replaced but that it is purely coincidental... 2) Customer service is neither efficient nor helpful. Receiving the estimate after the initial repairman's 1st visit takes several days (during which the parts aren't ordered). And if you need to change anything from the original estimate, their customer service isn't helping! You ask for the change by clicking the online link but will never hear back from them. You call them and have to deal with someone who is so unhelpful you'll need to call again a few days later hoping they will finally send you the revised estimate. When you finally receive it, replying to their email to accept does not trigger anything. It takes several more days to finally have them read your acceptance email (the part still hasn't been ordered). 3) You can pay w/check or Zelle if you want to avoid a CC fee. If you do not have Zelle, they'll wait to receive your check to order the part. Even if they have dragged their feet through the whole process and you're now nearly 3 weeks without a working freezer thanks to them. 4) Only order from them the obvious mechanical parts that need to be fixed but find online yourself smaller items like fridge filters/freezer lightbulbs etc. They will charge you a ridiculous $252 to replace 3 lightbulbs in your freezer that you can otherwise get for $4 each + shipping online (that was what I wanted them to remove from the original estimate and that took forever to do).

I was able to get an LG 4 door stainless steel refrigerator with the touchscreen Pad that connects to WIFI, found an almost new Kenmore 5 burner stainless steel stove with double oven. Paid just under $2k for both items when i was expecting to spend $3-$4K. Mr. Lara (the dad) was soo nice that he offered to have it delivered the same day despite it being closing time and didnt charge me for delivery. My entire experience from the minute I walked in to the delivery was PHENOMENAL. They even called me a couple days later to make sure there werent any issues during the delivery or with the appliances. I will continue to send all my friends and loved ones to Laras Appliances. I speak both fluently, but prefer English. So the men came out to look at the HVAC unit, at 18 years old we knew we may need a new one. I got some pretty good competitive rates from a few people. This company wasn't the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive either. I wanted something additional done, & Tony explained to me I could spend the money on it but that it wasn't entirely necessary because of the size of my house. Ended up saving me $1500. The workers were respectful of my children and my property. They took precautionary measures to ensure my carpet was protected. Upon completion, they walked through with me to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction. They also made sure I understood the new thermostat and the new filter process. We shopped around, and the cost was pretty much the same everywhere (Generacs aren't cheap.) But the service and expertise with these guys really stood out. Further, they helped us deal with Centerpoint on the installation and the required conversion to a new gas meter. It's really nice when a company not only answers the phone when you call, but they also give honest answers and offer to help in any way they can.
