I got a text around 3pm saying he was on his way and he arrived shortly after. I told him what happened and he went to work checking various components of the system. He quickly found this issue (a bad start relay), replaced it and the refrigerator and freezer began cooling. It's always good to see a good technician jump in and solve an issue. Joseph was communicative during the entire process. You could tell he knows and enjoys what he is doing. I will call him again for any appliance or AC work we need in the future.

Without hesitation, Jorge asked a few questions regarding our AC setup and walked me through some initial troubleshooting. Realizing we would need onsite support, Jorge asked for my address and was onsite within 30 minutes. I didn't realize he brought his family along who patiently waited in his service truck. Aside from his responsiveness, I appreciated Jorge's honesty regarding next steps. Within an hour he installed refrigerant and replaced a circuit. In addition, he peeked into the attic and suggested that we address missing insulation in certain spots. And if the home continued to warm up, he recommended increasing the AC unit tonnage as a last resort. After telling me he had the part, he still wanted me to wait for him to install it. When I told him I couldn't wait any longer and return my money, he started cursing and threatening me! All I could do was say, WOW! He did return the money for the part, (which was over $400 dollars), but I couldn't believe someone who is supposed to be an owner could be soooo unprofessional! The first company said the problem was the compressor. It's been a week and I still haven't received their quote or any reply to my email and voicemail. But they sure charged me for the call. IFix came, pulled the fridge out from the wall and diagnosed the actual problem - a relay switch that was keeping the compressor from cycling correctly. It was a much less expensive fix than either compressor or a new refrigerator. And, Favio was friendly, helpful and efficient. I will certainly call them first with any other appliance issue I have.
