I got a call back after dropping it off at Radnor saying the brakes had 50% wear and were just fine. The other guys said the same thing about my truck brakes and I took it to Radnor for tires and brakes which they claimed had 50% left. The other guys claimed it had 3% left on the pads. Travis took his 2005 Chevy Silverado to Snappy's on September 3rd, 2025 for a front-end alignment. Before bringing it in, he had already replaced both control arms, inner and outer tie rods, lower ball joints, the pitman arm, idler arm, and the gear box himself. He had also just installed two brand‑new tires -- nearly $800 worth -- right before the alignment. The truck only had a slight pull to the left, and he wanted a professional alignment to finish the job. Snappy's inspected the truck, agreed it was fine to align, and documented that everything was within spec afterward. If the truck truly had the severe issues they later claimed, they should never have performed the alignment in the first place -- but they did, took his money, and said everything looked good. Around Thanksgiving, Travis called Snappy's to report that the pull was still there and that the brand‑new tires were already wearing unevenly. They told him to come in on a day he wasn't available. January was the first chance he had to stop in. When he went in in person in January, the GM told him he'd talk to the owners about the situation and get back to him. He never heard anything after that. During that January visit, Snappy's also gave him a completely different story from what they told him in September. Suddenly they claimed the lift kit was unstable, bolts were falling out, the front axle was "almost falling out of the differential," and that the pitman arm, idler arm, and tie rods were worn -- even tho ugh all of those parts were brand new when they aligned it the first time. Their new explanation completely contradicted their original report. Then they tried to sell him over $2,300 in repairs, including replacing the exact same parts he had already replaced before the first alignment -- the same parts they said were fine when they took his money in September. Meanwhile, the two tires he had just bought -- again, almost $800 -- were now nearly bald on the inside edges because the alignment was never corrected under warranty. Snappy's gave him two completely different diagnoses months apart, refused to honor their warranty, didn't follow through on what the GM promised, and tried to upsell him on repairs he didn't need. He paid for an alignment that didn't fix the issue, ended up with ruined tires, and got no accountability from the shop. Based on everything he went through, I wouldn't recommend Snappy's to anyone.

When we got it back I immediately noticed an improper fit with the bumper -- like it was put on half assed. It wasn't bad enough to take back so I left it. Two months later I opened the hood up for an oil change and I noticed resistance. It wasn't until later that I noticed the corner of the hood was bent because it was so badly aligned. If it didn't take me so long to notice it, I would've taken it back. I won't take another vehicle here for repair. This is the second vehicle we have taken here that had inferior workmanship done to it.

The gentleman I worked with is rather gruff and not particularly friendly, and while a friendly demeanor isn't exactly something I need it's still nice when dealing with a business. I was ultimately given a printed estimate however the gentleman didn't bother to take any photos to provide to the insurance carrier, so then I had to take them. I was also told by the carrier Bernie's was completely unresponsive and uncooperative in giving them the estimate and I was caught in the middle. So with the bad attitude, having the onus put back on me by the shop to coordinate and then on top of the recent complaints of poor workmanship, I am taking the car to a different shop.

I was having noise/grinding in the rear end of my Ford F150. My technician, Kaleb, met me at 800am on the drop off day. He drove the car with me to ensure he heard what I was hearing. After I left, they performed an 80 point inspection. The results of the inspection identified things that were wrong and needed immediate fix. It also identified "should haves" based on mileage and timing. The text allow me to "accept" or "decline" the service. I phoned for clarification on one item and was given a thorough explanation. I authorized them to perform the tasks I needed most. I received a call at 430pm that night indicating my car was done. I will be going back to Solomon's for future car repair needs.
