I called our insurance company and this is not true. After doing research I found out pharmacists make more money filling 30 days vs 90. They did this to me last month. My son is 26 and aged out on insurance. The last two months, they have filed his prescriptions on our insurance. I called two months ago asking to remove his insurance from the system. They did not. I included notes this month saying no insurance, cash purchase and asked for 90 days. They gave him 30 days AGAIN. I made them fix their mistake today. She was not happy about being called out. I was NOT happy either. Do not take their word. Call your insurance company. Do not accept a 30 day supply. Very disappointed in Hinkle! We have good experiences until the last two months. Then the Gentry staff got furious and told me not to tell them how to practice, and to leave and never come back. A few weeks later I found out that a Medicare claim was filed for my having gotten a Covid shot there, with the date of service a few days AFTER I was in the office. I think they were vindictive and trying to stop me from getting Medicare from approving a Covid shot elsewhere, because they don't believe in Covid shots. I wrote to Mr. Gentry, the owner, and never heard back from him.

While cahaba is still sometimes more convenient kn my way home from work, this location is more direct if im coming from home. Traveling side, both have lovely staff and they offer delivery service! Today's crew assisted us with our Tamiflu and we stocked up on kids ibuprofen and acetominophin. The flu season has been awful so they could only supply the initial doses for my two boys, but they will be delivering the rest tomorrow. I love supporting local, especially Jim and his team. While I hope no one had to frequent a pharmacy, check them out and know they'll always take good care of you and your family.

I arrived at 10am and the doors are locked - closed all weekend! A sign on the door says they are not open on Saturday although it says they are open online! The website information needs to be changed and it would be helpful if they gave you this information when they call on a Friday afternoon to let you know your prescription is ready. I didn't want this to reflect badly on their business (since I technically haven't seen anyone there yet) thus the four stars...but a heads up to others...they are NOT open on weekends.
