Friendliest service in the state. I recently rediscovered Hometown after being a fan when I was close to their original location. Now that I'm back around town - I stumbled in when I spotted it on the way home one evening. Since then - I visit at least 1x a week. Slice combo is an amazing value. Wieners are a bit pricey - but tasty I've had several menu items and all hit the spot. Looks like they are opening a second location in West Warwick - even closer to me - so I'm excited to frequent there more often. A+++ read more

My first time trying this small town pizza place & me and the family loved it. The pizza was really cheesy and the sauce was very good, tasted housemade. The tots and zucchini sticks where fried to perfection, maybe could have been a little crispier, but still delicious and the food is not greasy gross at all! Usually, I enjoy getting food from Hometown Pizza. Usually it's always flavorful and taste delicious. Tonight we got two hot weenie calzones. You could see all the grease around the sides of the calzone. Both of them the dough was undercooked, one more than the other. The weenies didn't taste right the hot weenie sauce had no flavor and was extremely oily. I had a few bites of one piece and couldn't finish it. Now my stomach is hurting me. We had a couple friends with us. Everyone took one piece and all said the same thing. We all threw the calzone pieces out. So we are sitting on a calzone and a half that won't get eaten. I called to let them know, and as I was explaining it, it seemed like the manager/owner. I don't know who it was honestly. Didn't believe me maybe. Told me I could bring it back as long as there was the whole calzone. Now when you buy a calzone and you have company and everybody takes one piece you're not gonna have a whole calzone so we only have a calzone and a half to take back. He seemed to get a bit of an attitude when I said we didn't have 2 full calzones to take back. So I probably won't be going there anymore and I will chalk this up to experience. As soon as I gave my address the woman who took my order said "your address is on the do not deliver list" and hung up on me. I called back to ask why, because I had never ordered from here before and was told she did not know why, and that was it! The chili cheese fries I honestly was EXPECTING nacho cheese! But =\ lol I guess I shoulda asked? Different places make different chili cheese fries I guess-duh. This place has really friendly staff delivery driver gos above and beyond. The food isn't bad winners are good would recommend them. Not a big fan of the Buffalo wings they were soggy and full of fat will never order again. Pizza is to die for and sandwiches are great I would recommend this place. Great Deals for a quick bite of comfort food! I've always been served politely and with a smile! My family has eaten here several times over the past few months with enjoyment. Many of the items on the menu are delicious and usually comes in a decent sized helping. With that being said there are a few negatives. Occasionally, the ingredients don't taste fresh. About 50% of the time the eggplant in the eggplant parm tastes a few days old. Last night I ordered a $10 quesadilla and the chicken was rubbery. The chicken tastes like the 3rd day of thanksgiving... old and reheated. Unfortunately it's the few bad times that outweighs the many good. This place is terrible! When you pick up your order you get an email asking if you liked you food or not. I chose the sad face and complained out the steak sandwich and how it was all chopped up and looked like hamburg with no taste. Also complained that I had to wait about 10 minutes while the one person handling the phones & the people coming in was taking phone orders after I gave her my name for my call in order. Stumbled upon this place via Yelp and it did not disappoint. The guy who took our order over the phone was one of the nicest people I have talked to. We had two salads, one Caesar and one Greek with chicken and an order of garlic cheesy bread. Both salads were fresh and delicious, and the croutons in the Caesar salad were really tasty! We asked for chicken on the Greek salad and it came with what looked like two full chicken breasts! The cheesy bread is cooked until golden brown and crispy! My wife and I order from here quite frequently. All of their subs are great. I think their pizza could be better, for the money, they are kind of small. I think their large is only a 14in pizza. I decided to try some pizza from here as the pictures on instagram looked splendid but all I can say is those pictures are the definition of CATFISHING. It is gross and the cheese was stringy. This place is literally a5 minute walk from our house so we ordered pizza for delivery after a 2 hour traffic jam on 195 . Told is 30 minutes , okay great , after a couple minutes I called back to make sure it was well done so crust isn't limp in the middle " no problem " she said . 20 minutes later we got a lukewarm and soggy pizza . Delicious pizza and fair prices. Fast delivery. Really strange operating hours. Sometimes this place is randomly closed on days that usual businesses are operating.
