I've had it a few more times and it has been good and all parts of the order have been included.

I have had two lunches from Piezoni's now, so I have an opinion. The first time, I had a chicken parm sandwich. I ordered a large, and it came with a reasonable price for a large sandwich, but what arrived would be, at best, considered a medium sized sandwich. That being said, it tasted good and was served on nice bread. I enjoyed it, but would have appreciated a better serving. Second was a work luncheon. We had pizza. REALLY big pizzas. Huge. I don't know what size they were, but each one had 32 pieces. And they were terrific. I had pepperoni and cheese slices and they were both delicious. The pepperoni was much more tasty, however. Tasty, medium thick crust, flavorful sauce and decent cheese and pepperoni made for a very satisfying pie. The cheese pizza was not nearly as tasty, in fact, was a little bland. I know that is sort of "expected" with a plain cheese pizza, but that is not the case with a pizza that has great sauce and high quality cheese (like DePetrillos, Twisted, Casserta or Twin's for instance). It is a chain, so expect there to be some blandness and uniformity. But overall, well worth the eating. read more

So I've been back a few times since, and it had gotten better, but the last time I was there something happened that made me decide not to ever go back. I was waiting for my order, and someone called into their store asking about their delivery order. As soon as the girl working the phone hung a long string of profanity and obscene language ensued unleashed upon the person that called. And that was with me in the building. This is an in depth review of Piezonis East Greenwich. OK. Let me first start off by saying I'm not a typical review writing person. But I feel like I had to for this place. I'm not sure why some people rate this place 1 or 2 stars when it has been nothing but awesome for me and my family and all of my friends. This place opened in 2012 and has changed ownership a few times, so maybe that is why the reviews are inconsistent. The first owners were two brothers who didn't really know what they were doing, and they sold it to some other guy and his wife in 2015 who also didn't know what they were doing and almost ran the store into the ground. Flash to 2016 the creators of Piezonis Llc handed the store over to this guy named Dave who is the younger brother of one of the creators of Piezonis, and let me tell you he knows what he is doing. I know because I have talked to him on several occasions, and he is the nicest most hardworking guy and is always willing to help. He is there about 60-70 hours a week just making sure the store is running well. Under his guidance the store is always clean, the ingredients always fresh and the service always quick and friendly. He hires only the most courteous and professional staff, and they are always looking to please. I wouldn't know any of this if I didn't eat there almost every day for lunch (I work and go to school less than 5 minutes away). The menu is so diverse and is always being updated with new items! You can also usually find deals in their menus and email blasts too. The food they serve is inspired by Italian, American and Portuguese roots, and you can even find some things like Thai chili sauce or teriyaki, or even sriracha for their wings! They also have healthy options like the mixed greens pizza, salads, or wraps, and even rice bowls. Everything I have tried there has been nothing short of delicious and satisfying. If you have a preference or an allergy the staff will always do their best to accommodate you, no questions asked. They also deliver, which is great in this busy day and age, especially since their delivery is FAST! Basically, if you are looking for a comfortable place to sit down and eat, or get fast delivery, then Piezonis in EG is the place! They even have free Wi-Fi! Lol. It has quickly become one of my favorite places to grab a bite or just hang out while I catch up with friends or work/school related material. I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but felt I had to for this place since it's surprisingly and refreshingly good pizza for this neck of the woods. I moved up to the northeast a few years ago from the southwest and thought I was moving to some amazing pizza (unfortunately RI is a far cry from NYC...). After spending a few years ordering disappointingly soggy pizza (I won't name any names Pier or Kingston... ;-) ), Rhode Island has finally delivered quality pizza to my East Greenwich abode. Piezoni's has a nice, well-done, rectangle pie with good crust and fresh ingredients. I started with the basic pepperoni which is good, but have really enjoyed the more adventurous pies like the steak bomb or the mixed greens pizza. If you want a New England staple (and the one I feel is their best) go with the buffalo chicken pizza. Again, writing reviews is atypical for me but I felt compelled to write about this new little pizza place since it finally delivered the quality of pizza I had hoped for when moving to the northeast. Ok. Terrible terrible food. Ordered a pizza. Like a frozen warm up product but worse. With thin crust. Maybe the worst pizza I've ever had from an actual restaurant. Also ordered chix parm...but they had run out of chicken. Somehow they could still make the buffalo chix sub. Awful. Just awful. From the soft bread to the fatty like warm chix. AVOID. Ps. The up and down reviews are so strange. I worked in the area for two years and Piezoni's was a special treat for me and my coworkers. I usually got a calzone or a chopped salad with chicken. The calzones were huge! Like, fork and knife huge and I only ate half for lunch. I never had a problem with them...except maybe they were too stuffed, and because of that the crust got soggy. I don't know what magic they put in their salad, but I usually inhaled the stuff. It was a big portion and filling! I could never finish it. Everything was chopped uniformly, but the vegetables weren't wet, so they had a great crunch. I do remember having to wait a little while for the order to be made though, and it felt expensive ($15 for lunch) considering what I was making at the time. I really wanted it to be good. I work close to this location. I get a 30 minute lunch from work, so seeing a new pizza place close enough to get to and back got me excited. I saw it as something I could do a couple of times a week. Go there, get 2 slices, head back to work. But I was disappointed after my first visit. I've never had Piezoni's, but I've driven by them, and seen their "By the Slice" signs. So, I walked in and asked the girl if they have pizza by the slice available, she wasnt sure, she asked someone else, and they said yes. I paid, and sat down to wait. After TWENTY minutes, it was ready. I normally expected two slices of pepperoni pizza to be ready, just re-heated for a few minutes. Apparently, they made a whole new pizza. Now, had they let me know this beforehand, I would have just declined. As far as the pizza goes, it was hot mess, literally. I got two square slices, they smelled great. But when I picked one up, the cheese fell off in one big sheet. Second piece was the same. Once I re-assembled my pizza, it was OK. Nothing great, and very greasy. read more

This is a place I would not have typically order pizza from, as I tend to shy away from chains. My kids order the Mixed Greens pizza with Gluten free dough. Although the dough a more like a soft bread, as opposed to the crispy bottom and chewy center that I prefer in thin crust pizzas, the topping made this pizza pretty tasty. I would not say that it is my go to pizza place, but for a relatively healthy option for pizza, this Mixed Green pizza is not bad. I has a healthy serving of chicken chunks with what is essentially a salad as a topping. They drizzle a ranch type salad dressing on it and aside from lettuce, it has black olives, tomatoes, onions and feta cheese. My kids will order this pizza when I cannot cook dinner and it seems to satisfy everyone's taste buds and gets some healthy options in there for pizza take. I just enjoyed a Smoky Joe sub sandwich. I ordered pick up at East Greenwich location. I was a little reluctant to try Piezonis because I usually only go to places that have four or more stars if I can help it but after looking at the reviews they looked a little unfair and I thought I'd give this place a try. I am fairly sure my kids ordered pizza here before and it was pretty good. But this is the first time I can remember getting a lunch there. I ordered online. It was hot and ready when I got there. It was loaded with chicken and high-quality bacon. It was neatly put together. I'm not a huge bread person but this bread was very good. I ordered a platter of sweet chili chicken tenders for my sons birthday party. My fiance went to pick it up...when he got to the house he picked at one and realized it was buffalo chicken not sweet chili. It wouldn't have been a big deal but I had a family member coming to the party who was also bringing buffalo chicken. I had my fiance call to let them know about their mistake and the manager told my fiance they would make a new order but that they wanted the other order back?!?! I'm pretty sure there is a health code violation for taking back an order that has already been picked at and since it was their mistake you think they would have the decency to let us have the order since they were probably going to just throw it away! Franchise restaurants have never made it high on my list. For Piezoni's in East Greenwich I make the exception. This was the best pizza I've ordered for delivery. Now I'm sure if I went out, there are wonderful pizzas to be had, but in the delivery arena, not so much. The entire experience, from the phone call through delivery was also positive. Stopped there today to get a quick lunch. No one was in there, and the phone never rang for orders. We had requested something that was no longer on the menu but said they could still make it . We placed what would be considered a small order. After 30 min we asked about the order the girl went to the back and said the ovens hadn't been turned on and they would have to start the order again. The cooks in the back had time to be fooling around but didn't have time to check on the orders that had been placed. After the girl came back to tell us that they had to be remade the counter girl disappeared. This is a despicable way to treat your customers. Word to the wise if it's not in the menu don't try to quest it because they have no idea what they are doing. It should never take 45-50 min for anything at piezonies!!!!! read more

Keep looking...typical low quality fast food. I got the chix parm sub and she got a salad with chicken. The portions a puny. A hearty appetite will be left wanting. The bread is doughy and chewy with no character at all. The chicken and sauce were so salty I couldn't continue eating. The price for a meager lunch with 2 bottles of water was almost $20! This place is amazing! I am an avid pizza connoisseur. I recently moved to West Greenwich after living in Raulston Tennessee since the 1970s. I found myself at this Piezonnis because my wife Helen decided she wanted some frozen yogurt at Orange leaves. I says I hate yogurt and fruit so I'm going to relax next door. I order my self a cheese and olive pie. Waited only about 12 minutes and it was brought out to me in style with a beautiful front counter lady who's name I forgot already. Right away I tasted the sauce which was like nectar from the tomato god himself. The cheese tasted like a warm creamy surprise, my absolute favorite! I won't even exaggerate, this is the greatest pizza since I had a pie from"Schmutzige Krake"in Germany back in the late 80s. I finish the pie and walk out of the store and wait for my wife to leave orange leaves. We make it back home and I almost passed out thinking of Piezonnis. I tried to sleep off the urge but I couldn't. My wife wouldn't let me drive back so I rode my daughter's princess bike 11 miles back to the restaurant on a flat tire. Same great service, same great pie. I needed to have some for home so I ordered 2 large cheese and olive pies to bring back home. But wait I only have a bicycle and no way to support the pizzas. Ended up selling the bike to a Spanish guy from courtesy cleaners for $10 and called a taxi so my pizza could arrive safely. One problem, I left the pizzas at the store. With no transportation back to the restaurant I start panicking because of the potential of not being able to enjoy my drug of choice (cheese and olive pie from Piezonnis). After curling up in the fetal position, I get a phone call, I thought my life alert got triggered by falling into the fetal position but no! It was my Savior! Not Jesus, not Allah, but Piezonnis east Greenwich. They had sent a driver with my forgotten pizzas to my house. Can't thank these guys and gals enough. Got a flyer for them in the mail so decided to try them...I got an Italian grinder and a calamari appetizer....The sandwich was decent but a rip off...Too small for the price of a large anywhere else. The smallest I have ever seen for the price of a large. Also they were skimpy on the calamari....Plenty of places nearby that have a good size hefty sandwich for the same price...I won't be back... read more
