Lanissa Fortner - 4 Seasons Real Estate

About 5 years ago I was introduced to Lanissa through a work friend in Scottsdale, AZ. Little did I…read moreknow I met one of the only people I'd ever trust to help me through a home buying experience. In 2015ish I decided to look into purchasing my first home, or possibly just a rental property; I was really undecided and needed direction. Like I was soooo out of my element here. I immediately turned to Lanissa for help. She stepped right up and even though I wasn't really looking for a home in the Billings market, she was extremely knowledgeable about the Phoenix area market and what I needed to look for in a real estate agent. Plus she had contacts in a couple other states I was looking to possibly purchase in. Basically the picture boils down to me dipping my toe into a the ocean of real estate and Lanissa scooping me up out of the ocean waves and letting me ride along on her yacht! All of the connections she partnered me with helped me find a few wonderful properties throughout the states and every realtor I was partnered with through Lanissa provided amazing customer service and went out of their way for me considering I was waaayyy out of state for most of them. (I'm sure there's nothing like a super distant customer you've never met trying to buy a house practically site-unseen, while being a huge noob to the market!! I did get a approved for a mortgage ahead of time... so I had one step in the generally right direction.) Now, I'm lucky enough to see Lanissa annually at the real estate convention in Scottsdale she attends to get all of the most up to date information in her industry. Quite frankly she is a fantastic human and a killer agent! She'll bust her butt for you and will never lead you down the wrong path... or if I'm to keep up with my (terrible) analogy, will never leave you to drown in the crazy ocean that is the real estate world. I will absolutely use Lanissa's expertise in the future when purchasing any other properties and will continue to nag her about getting real estate licenses in the other states that I'm trying to purchase in ;)

Lanissa was fantastic in my initial meeting with her. We signed a contract and listed my home…read more After that she told me that it was a bad time to list a home because nobody shops for homes until after school starts or during Labor Day. Why wouldn't she have told me that before we listed - I would have postponed two weeks. I got the basic listing on the MLS and no further contact from her. She did respond if I contacted her first, however, never initiated the contact to check in or update me. When I finally decided to take the listing down, I got a very generic response from her letting me know she would send a document to end the contract and asking where to leave the lockbox key. It ended up being a very cold and disappointing experience working with her
