He makes it a priority to offer affordable and much needed surgeries. Had we not had that option I have no idea what we would have done. The doctor never spoke to us before the day of surgery, nor did he have any consultation with us. We were specifically told that Rosie would be examined by the doctor when we arrived that morning before surgery, which is exactly why an examination fee was included on the estimate. However, when we arrived, the doctor never came to speak with us, never introduced himself, never examined Rosie in front of us, and never gave us the opportunity to ask questions before making a decision. Instead, while we were waiting, we could hear him outside the room, behind the door, talking and laughing with other staff members. We were told he was too busy to come speak with us. Your response also misrepresents the pricing. We have the original written estimate that was provided before we drove more than four hours for Rosie's surgery. When we arrived, we were presented with a significantly higher bill. Claiming the increase was "less than $30" is simply not true. Anyone comparing the written estimates can see the difference. Even more concerning, when we questioned the increase, your staff told us your prices had gone up that very morning by only 2.5%. A 2.5% increase does not account for the large difference between the estimates. When we asked for an explanation, no one could provide one. The issue was never just the money. We rearranged our schedules and drove over four hours because we trusted the written estimate and expected honest, transparent communication. Instead, we arrived to unexpected pricing, were unable to speak with the surgeon before making our decision, and left feeling that our time, travel, and concerns were not respected. We stand by our review because it accurately reflects our experience. We have the written estimates, and they speak for themselves.

The sitters vary but all are enthusiastic based on the reports they leave. After every visit the sitter leaves a note of when they came and left and what they did. They also usually text us an update and a picture of our birds. We come back to a stack of reports. The sitter stays a while after the food, water, and paper are changed to make sure the birds aren't acting weird, and I hear that some singing goes on. We've never had a problem and have be accommodated at very short notice when we want to go away for the weekend. I highly recommend this company. 1/27/20 Update: Just used them again during a ten day trip to Hawaii. I'm pretty sure our birds are in love with Alex, who came for most oF the visits. Now they are just stuck with us. As always, a great experience and we love being able to travel without any worries.

Despite me typing up a whole instruction sheet, he insisted on walking through again just to be sure (which is very reassuring). The actual pet sitting was spectacular. The pet sitter who was assigned was Kim. She spent plenty of time with the cats and made sure they were well cared for while I was away. The visit reports they leave are really cute as well. Could not have gone smoother! I'd also like to add that they were available with very short notice (3 other pet sitting companies were unable to handle our request). Also want to add that Stewart (when he came for the home visit) was wearing a mask and gloves to protect against COVID (a welcome sight). Pet owners would should have their minds at ease if they select Love Those Paws. If I go on vacation again (few and far between these days) I would definitely use them again!

We went for a routine visit today and, boy, how have things have changed for the worse. First we had to wait in a very small room where the only place to sit was stool with very wobbly legs and one of which seemed broken. So we stood. After a 10 minute wait, a technician came and went and the doctor came in and there was still not even an introduction until we asked for it. All our kid's shots were brought up to date and the bill came in just under $500 but there was a $12 surcharge because we didn't pay cash. This was all because they refused to authorize a prescription to renew heart worm medication for our girl without an office visit. The visit was routine since it all needed to be done anyway. If we had known before we went this time what we know now, we would never have gone. We're looking for a new vet now. We're done with Countryside. If you find a good one, cherish them. I hope they'll stay good for you. These guys aren't the ones.

When I asked if I misunderstood the accusation, the response from the front desk was that people do steal and the accusation of potential theft was not because of my race (I am a black woman). I never brought up my race, and previously I did not linked my race to the accusation. I was hoping to speak to leadership about how the situation was handled, but they were too busy to address the issue initially, and offered to call me. They could have called/contacted me if I had actually left without paying as they had all of my contact information. I finally spoke to Dr. Nesbitt once her employee yelled at me, stating that I could just leave and somewhere else (of course I had already paid). Not the best way to start my Friday. But I will find another vet and I suggest you do the same. I spoke with them and this post because people have to do better with their unconscious bias. It steals the joy out of people's day and chips away at humanity, kindness, and the happiness that human interactions can bring. Especially with pet lovers.

People in and out of the room constantly instead of coming in prepared and completing the tasks quickly. As anyone knows, cats are super scared and freaked out at the vet. The initial tech used a pen to poke my cat in his carrier when he was hissing at her to "see if he will bite". I've never seen anything like it. This was just a check up and shots. Took 1.5 hours and almost $300 for 2 cats.
